My copy is not the greatest and has a bad tracking problem at the begining which is why we would need to edit it with the director's cut to make it a much better looking and watchable copy. I have a few other Friday extended versions and some tv cuts of Hallowen 2 and lots of other stuff. Unfortunately I don't have the time or expertise to clean these up and make them look nearly as good as some of you guys do.

I have an extended copy/workprint of JGTH and was wondering if anyone would be interested in this on DVD? Possibly using the Director’s cut dvd and splice in the workprint footage. There’s a lot of stuff in the workprint that didn’t make the director’s or theatric cut. Any takers gets my VHS tape all I ask in return is a copy of the DVD.

AWESOME! I was just going to ask if anyone has this. Is this the version where they spliced every extra frame from various resources together to make a 3hr version? I use to have this on tape but loaned it to a friend and never saw it again. But it was fairly generated and not the greatest quality. Cool thing was they used the widescreen laserdisc and spliced all the television footage together to come up with this version so you could tell which scenes were extra because they were Pan/Scanned.

I checked my Superman 3 and although the quality may be a generation better, my version has a "Superstation" bug at the bottom of the screen the whole time.

Ritker, I may have a better version of Superman III and possibly II. I'll have to check my copies at home tonight. If so, I'll send you my master tapes. All I'd like in return is a copy of these on DVD when you're done.

BTW, I LOVE your menus, they're awesome!!!

I have many other "extended" versions of movies if interested. For some reason, I can't capture many of them due to some weird tracking problem.

How good is the video quality of the Superman extended cut? I have a first generation of it on Beta, but it refuses to track properly (must have been recorded on some off brand/mutant betamax!) and I've hit a dead end with it.

The quality is OK but it's a few gens old. I have 2 betatape players I could try on mine if interested. I could at least get it captured. I'm no good at cleaning up video that's why I've asked outside sources. If interested, Let me know.

OK I know this is off topic but I was wondering. I have a copy of the extended Superman II and Superman III movies and I was wondering if someone would like to put these to DVD. I could do it myself but I don’t have the time or expertise to do it well. So if anyone is interested, Email me at:

I also have a copy of Superman 1 that is a “composite” of the the laserdisk along with all the scenes from various extended sources but a friend of mine has it and I need to get it back.

All I want in return is a couple of copies on DVD of these. You can keep the tapes.

I went to this exhibit and camcorder taped the documentary along with all the props and such. If worse comes to worse, I can send you my tape for the audio and the exhibit footage. But I will say, I did capture it from my camcorder so the audio sucks. I may have a better copy of it somewhere in my pile of star wars footage, I'll have to check and see.

Halloween 6 the Producer’s Cut

Plus many others.

I also have on VHS getting ready to convert:

Superman 2 & 3 extended cut.
