You should always continue the same discussion. Do a search for the thread so you don't keep creating threads.

But in any case, I picked mine up over the vacation and will be transferring all unavailable extras whenever I get a chance. It's not a high priority but it will be done.

AWESOME, Keep us posted, Maybe someone could upload them to Myspleen, Demonoid, or Pirate Bay. I would be happy to PIF for US folks if you could get me a copy. PM me.

Idea: a preservation of Hardware Wars SE?
Time
I think you're thinking of HBO Short Takes from the 70's-80's, they showed tons of great shorts in between movies. Such as "Closet Cases of the Nerd Kind" I have a VHS tape that has the original version of Hardware Wars, Plus Closet Cases, and a few others like Porklips Now, and Bambi Meets Godzilla. This tape needs to be converted to DVD if anyone wants to take a stab at it.

I have the DVD plus the SE VHS. I've been meaning to transfer it to DVD, just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe I can get it done this week. I remember watching this when it originally aired on Showtime in the 70's! Showtime used to air small films called "Showtime Shorts" in between movies. They showed this thing a million times that summer!

PS... Another notworthy fan film is George Lucas in Love. Very funny!! Also available on DVD in widescreen or full screen.

Info Wanted: Nightmare on Elm St 5 UNCUT?
Time
The Remastered version of ANOES was released on laserdisc with deleted scenes? I'd love to see that transfered to DVD. My DVD is from the VHS version. We need this on DVD along with Nightmare on Elm St 5 uncut. My VHS tape of part 5 is a copy of the Laser, anyone with the actual Laserdisk should transfer it to DVD.

I'd love to get copies of these. I have TONS of Rare DVDs to trade.

I have just bought that Laserdisc of off Ebay, and was going to transfer it to DVD - what is your DVD like?

As for NOES5, this is listed on IMDB -

Unrated video version features about a minute of extra gore that was cut from the R-rated theatrical release. Scenes that were cut in the R-rated version: when the girl is force fed her own guts, and when the motorcycle "fuses" with the rider's body.

The DVD version of the film is the theatrical release, rated R, and isn't uncensored like the VHS release.

This would be worth a DVD if the cut stuff is worth it. Is it?

Does anyone know anything about this? I have a VHS copy of it from a (I BELIEVE) German Laserdisk. I haven’t compared it to the original cut, but I was wondering if it was any different from the US Theatrical version.

On that note does anyone have any specials on Nightmare on Elm St? I had the 2 VHS special edition where they cleaned it up and the 2nd tape had deleted scenes/alternate takes/endings and audio outtakes etc. I put that on DVD a few years ago. Why this hasn’t made it on an official DVD is beyond me.

One other thing, it looks like I'll have to call this release something else. "We're Ready to Believe You" is already included as a tagline on the 1999 special edition release. Any ideas? I thought of maybe "Crossing the Streams" or "Big Twinkie" but was wondering if you guys had any ideas.

How about "We came, We saw.." Edition?
