I didn’t watch it. I never watch football – not even the British version.
The thing discussed in this thread is not football… it is handegg.

Do you like any superheros?
Apart from myself, no.
I don’t like Superman.
I don’t like Batman.
That’s ok, we don’t like you so it all works out.
On behalf of what team did you make this “we” statement?
Team EveryoneOnTheSite
Well I like myself…
I don’t like Batman.

Well to be honest both look fake. When it comes to models of animate object, the excessive stiffness and lack of natural dynamics makes it apparent fake. When it comes to CGI, it is excessive perfection that makes it apparent fake. It just a matter of which kind of fake you prefer.
*guffaw*
Then show me a film with better CGI at that time…
Lord of the Rings trilogy. Minority Report. Gladiator. The Matrix. Pirates of the Caribbean. Armageddon. King Kong. The Fifth Element. Titanic. Independence Day.
Sorry… nope.
ALIEN: Isolation (VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Especially on a very nice self-built computer. Since all settings can be then set on maximum.)
That was the first Alien-related game that I really loved. I found it very enjoyable, despite being mostly about hiding and crawling around like a cockroach. The story is not bad as well. Overall, the game perfectly captures the feel of the original film.

ALIENS: Colonial Marines
Unlike Isolation, I was quite closely following the developed of this game. Near the final stages of developed I felt it went into wrong direction and I gave up. I have never played it myself as well. I guess I didn’t miss much as people say it is as crap as I predicted it to be, just another boring soulless FPS game.

One thing I cannot complain about PT is certainly CGI. It was very good.
To say that TFA was not generally considered good is an absolute lie.
Please point me to a study that showed this.
Imdb?
Holy crap! It is actually true. 😃
What didn’t you like about ROTS?

I lost you at number 3.
It’s generally regarded as great. Sorry.
Don’t be ridiculous…
So far, spankings thread is number one.

I certainly agree that Yub Nub sucks and is very anti climactic, and there are some very good scenes in the prequels.
I simply cannot stand theatrical version of ROTJ because of Yub Nub… especially when VC is so much better.
Have you played SWTOR?
No, but I hear that even with the Revan expansion there’s still little to noting to do in the end game so I don’t know if it’s worth it. Looks kind of fun for an MMO though.
Well SWTOR might be officially MMO but MMO related stuff is rather secondary to its storyline (single player) content. Basically I didn’t care about MMO stuff (PVP, end game PVE) or expansions and I kept my interaction with other players to an absolute minimum to maintain the immersion. I would also suggest avoiding any Revan related side story stuff.
If you ever decide to try you shouldn’t worry about having little to do. The original eight characters storyline content is huge. I would suggest trying Imperial Agent or Sith Warrior storylines. In particular, Agent got an universal praise among players.
I may get it if it’s less than 30 dollars.
I think they actually made it free to play at some point. Not entirely sure how it works but I am sure you have some limitations with free to play.
I suggest you check this introductory material (if you haven’t seen it):
Galactic History <- they hired Lance Henriksen to narrate these
He exploited a loophole regarding overtime laws that are probably determined on a state by state basis anyway, so the American justice system specifically cannot be blamed.
I didn’t say American. I just said that the particular justice system under which it happened is to be blamed.
Alien (theatrical): 10/10 - in my top 5 films
Aliens (SE): 9/10 - I would give it 10 but the last half hour Rambo-style crap prevents me
Alien3 (Assembly Cut): 8/10 - interesting setting
Resurrection: 5/10 - quite average
AVP and AVP2: 2/10 - equally bad
Yes the laws this man is exploiting loopholes of aren’t good but he’s still a jerk to do this. If I killed someone and was acquitted, the legal system did make a mistake but that doesn’t change the fact that I killed someone. The system and the a-hole are both at fault to some degree.
Court decision mistake and law giving you the right are two different things.
I understand your point but you cannot blame it on the nature of people as we cannot change it. I agree that no written law is perfect. That is exactly why there is a judge who should apply his immense experience, sense of justice, decency and common sense to the interpretation of the written law to make a suitable decision. If the judge cannot perform that in a good manner then we don’t them. Then we can use an algorithm with several “if” sentences applied to the written law to make a robotic decision.
