Sure, sounding better is technically an opinion, take any number of people and play the same thing for them on cd and vinyl and they will (in my own experience anyway) say the vinyl sounds better. So at what point does that become trustworthy?

I said that if the same amount of material was applied, the CDs would be better in all aspects. Now they are just better in most aspects.

They both degrade due the chemical deterioration. While vinyl might be practically usable for a longer period, unlike CD/Blu-Ray, it starts to loose the original information due to chemical deterioration from day one (not much but still). Well this really has very little to do with the point I made but I will play along.
I don’t think we would be worrying about how to play our home music collection if something like that happened. As for preserving the music history in such case, CD/Blu-Ray are still by far superior. You can simply optically extract the information in the exact form as it was encoded originally. We certaly can’t say the same for vinyls.
I am sorry to be a party pooper but obsession over any particular medium is rather sad and for that kind of people music certainly isn’t in the first place. I care only about the music and I want it in the purest form possible. Storage medium is just a necessary evil. The less evil the better. In this sense, vinyls are a crappy storage medium that distort the actual music by a lot. That is how it is.

Man, the prequels are not the worst thing to contaminate cinema. Sure they arent masterpieces,but with the worst of the bad acting and dialogue edited out they are quite enjoyable.

Well the least-damage option in that case would be to just watch PT after OT. By squeezing PT into the middle of OT you are not limiting the damage… you are amplifying it.

This is the WORST thing you can actually do. Putting PT in the middle of OT contaminates the OT and its feel. Especially since ESB flows into ROTJ so nicely.

That’s why I suggested an implied romance in my other post. Subtle nods here and there that indicate Anakin and Padme might be having sex or might be in a relationship. In Episode II or III Padme is preggers and Anakin is no where near that because he’s either still fighting in the Clone Wars or because he’s joined with Palpatine in destroying the Jedi Order. That way the twist isn’t outright told but the hints are there. Just like how the hints are there that the Ice Truck Killer is connected to one of the main characters in Dexter.
