“For eight hundred years have I trained Jedi”
Yoda was nine hundred years old when he said this, Grogu is still a child at age fifty which means he’s likely to grow exponentially in the next 50 years. I’m betting we’ll be seeing a very different Grogu next season, if there is any sort of time jump.

Jon Favreau Reveals ‘Rangers’ will take place not too long after ROTJ. Also, Rangers will be written by Favreau and Ahsoka by Filoni.

“That was a film that we all grew up with. I was an usher in the movie theater back in Queens when Return of the Jedi was playing so I saw that movie dozens and dozens of times at work and now it’s so fun to be continuing the story after that with some of those characters,”

So…Big Three back on the table?

A criticism that I see which I think is very valid is the fact that Mando is immune to any real danger thanks to his Beskar armour, making him affectively invincible. This was really highlighted when he was attacked by Gideon. If even a lightsaber can’t make a scratch, then where’s the danger? Why should the audience be worried. It’s like the Superman conundrum in story telling.

The only solution would be to strip him of his armour in season 3.

At least come up with actual criticisms rather than “they don’t have a story”.

That is precisely my criticism. There was no story.

Ask the most casual viewer or child and they’ll tell you in just a few words what the prequels and OT are about.
The sequels? Well, things happened. What exactly? Need some mental gymnastics to answer that.

I think the difference between the prequels and sequels is that one tells a story, and one does not.
No matter how badly the prequels were executed, at least there was a clear story that was being built on. The Sequels are simply a mishmash of ideas with no clear story or message. And for that reason, I don’t think they will ever be remembered fondly.
