Played around the climax of the Death Star scene:

• Han and Luke call out “Ben” as he is about to strike Rey, I added this to make it more of a collective effort from the big 3 to reach their kid.
• Added in Leia looking at Han’s medal intercut with Kylo getting stabbed and her death.
• rearranged the healing scene with Rey first expressing that she wanted to take his hand, than using her hand to heal him (I think it helps in building up to the kiss later on), she then runs off as Kylo looks in aw…

Seamless! Extra points for getting rid of “sOMhOw…Pappa’s back”.

Your change list is great as is the colour correction for Exogol, for the scenes with Rey I think the colours might be a little too washed out.

This. Use the guy while he is still alive and healthy, for the life of me I don’t get what’s stopping them from getting a young Luke and Ben series going asap.

Unpopular opinion but I think for a show that’s already 60% fan service, this is a little too much on Filon’s part.
I could be wrong though and if it serves the story well it could be fantastic, we will see.

Yeah definitely needs more work ,it’s really just a proof of concept for swapping out the theatrical track for this, which I think is much better.

I always thought that line would fit in well with the shot of him raising his hands, as if to display the fact “more than clone, less than a man”

The drums and trumpets at the start of Journey to Exogol are fantastic, would be great to use that track for the forest fight.

Yeah it takes away too much agency from Kylo, instead of “I made Snoke”, he could say “I trained Snoke”

Maybe we can see quick flashes of the force ghosts with each light flare that appears behind Rey.

Maybe using some alien languages from the games, Kotor has some good bystander alien dialogue .

Is that full sequence of Rey sitting and then grabbing oil to help with D-0’s squeaky wheel in the movie?

It’s not in the movie, the only thing that was left in was Rey oiling D-O’s wheel. This happens after 3PO’s sacrifice so she’s kinda mourning in this scene.

I read somewhere that in the novelisation, the Luke and Leia training fight was actually a flash back that Leia had at the start of the film.

Chewie and Kylo have a seen together in the star destroyer interrogation room in the novelisation, looks likely that it was filmed.

haha it’s would be quite the challenge but I’m sure someone would be up for it ; )

I think it’s still too abrupt for a Star Wars film, maybe we can hear an officer in the background say something like “My lord your ship is ready” - hold on to Kylo’s face and zoom - use a reversed shot of Kylo’s shuttle approaching the Executer from TFA with Mustafar in the background instead of Jakku - dark shuttle entering Mustafar’s atmosphere(rogue one) - slaughter.

That looks great, yeah I think it needs an establishing shot of krennics ship (could be recoloured to black) descending to mustafar and flying by Vaders Castle to make transition to the battle less abrupt.

On the bts documentary there are are few shots of Rey on the throne that could be used to extend the scene.
