his passion for Rey lit a flame in the cockpit
his passion for Rey lit a flame in the cockpit
Probably used the old TIE from the death star.
But why did the wings come off? They were fine from Kef Bir to Exegol, and theoretically to Tatooine as well. Did the old lady attack his ship?
One would assume that it couldn’t withstand another flight? After all it’s part of the wreckage of DS2 which kinda blew up…
He probably used the old TIE from the death star.
You would have to delete the sequence from Passana but you could still maintain Rey killing Chewie.
An interesting way of incorporating Ben into the Tatooine scene :

There’s only one Ren, and his name is Kylo Ren. Baby.
Anythings better than just Kylo.
Master?
Lord Ren?
I’ll give it a shot. Can I record it on my phone?
What could you give me?
“Everything” - Cut to the Throne- the Sith Cultist stadium.
The throne signifies the promise of power. The crowds are a great demonstration of scope gravitas and influence.

EDIT: Well, it might be awkward to have Palpatine just offer Kylo a vague “Final Order” “might” during the opening, and a subsequent reference to “outdated ships” or whatever wouldn’t make immediate sense. 😕
That’s the point, it creates anticipation for when the heroes find Exogol. The audience doesn’t see it but Kylo does, “with what I’ve seen on Exogol, the first order is about to become a true empire”.
Yeah that’s too bad I guess.
Speaking of the destroyers rising, what about moving that up to when Palpatine says to Pride “the final Order begins”? I think not seeing them until the 3rd act builds up anticipation instead of revealing all the cards in the first few minutes of the opening.
They’re also just floating there for no apparent reason for 3 quarters of the film.
Unfortunately, it seems like TROS is the result of that ilk invading youtube discourse.
PM sent.
My concern is the first shot of Boolio speaking is pretty short. He just says “From a new ally. A spy in the First Order.”
Might be too much to cram in. But hey, maybe I’ll try that out next and just see.
I wonder if the shots of him talking could be extended by reversing the shots back to back. Also, since you would be dubbing him in an alien languages, one could assume that it’s one of those “one word sentence” languages.
Regardless of the art form, Tartakovdky’s The Clone Wars functions as the perfect middle chapter. I wish it was made as “the episode 2” of the prequels.
Mike Zeroh is well known to have, pardon me, Zero credibility.
Since Rey asks about the validity of the rumoured spy, I prefer the original version of Boolio confirming that “There’s a spy in the First Order”. And since said spy is Hux, he would probably point out that it was The supreme leader himself that found the fleet, not The First Order. After all it was entirely his initiative and would emphasis that he’s been searching for said fleet for a while.
It’s why I would do the first part like this:
Finn- “got something for us?”
Boolio- "There’s a spy in the First Order. The Supreme leader, he’s found something, the rumoured hidden fleet from the old war.
I really like the rest of the dialogue you’ve written.
If any thing I think the original arrangement is what brakes the logic, kylo find the fleet and palpatine, next shot in remote space the spy had already Intercepted the information. The scene rearrangement actually spaces out the events making the spy’s acquisition of the information more logical.
From the workprint it seemed like the scenes were in the same order, just some were shorter and a few lines were changed. These were good changes on a micro sense, but as a whole, there wasn’t a substantial change of the beginning.
What I meant by scene rearrangement is this proposed new order of scenes :
Mustafar/Exogol montage/palpatine -> Rey trainging-> Rey gives saber to leia/asks about falcon-> falcon flight -> Rey reads book/falcon arrives.
I kind of agree, I think MSW alluded to that in early leaks.

Right.
Where’s the General Kenobi version of the DOTF?
Hello there,
https://vimeo.com/414116878
It’s taken originally from the trailer but I used Samuel Kim’s extended version https://youtu.be/V-O7HXXHcBs
Finn- “got something for us?”
Boolio- “There’s a spy in the First Order. The Supreme leader, he’s found something, the rumoured hidden fleet from the old war. And there’s more…”
Finn- A Spy? Who?
Boolio- "Just get the message to Leia, we don’t have time! "
Finn- “how do we thank you?”
Boolio- “Win the war”

And as cool of an idea as it is, Palpatine’s microphone reading of “more than a clone, less than a man” just seems to different to fit in.Maybe some of the audio wizards here could work on it?
Here’s the source: https://youtu.be/orSF0EvYRD4?t=1099I’ve been meaning to do more work on it, but here’s a cleaner version. If used, it could probably use a just a hint of reverb and some bass boosting.
A little choppy, but it’s an improvement.

Hal, you’re totally right. What’s JJs problem with ships landing properly?
I think JJ just took George’s “faster and more intense” and punched it up to cloud 9.
