Try just cutting the asylum bits and maybe the death scenes and then seeing if you can make it make sense from there.  IMHO cutting in bits from other films NEVER works in a fan edit.

If you really want to fix this movie, build a time machine, go back in time, smack Zach Snyder in the face, and tell him to do another draft.

lol. well said sir! i was disgusted by the movie. for me it meant the demise of a director i thought had infinite potential.

After "watchmen" i had decided zack snyder was going to have a bright future and was highly anticipating "suckerpunch" you should have seen the look of horror written across my face as i sit watching suckerpunch with an ever hopeful level of trust for snyder. Only to have it finally spit in my face as all my expectations were shot down in a blaze of lameness the likes of which we have never seen,

This being snyder's maiden voyage into screenwriting it does not look good folks! lets all prey that hollywood never allows snyder near a script again.

Op as for your idea no offense but i say dont put any effort into suckerpunch because the film will only live on as a vast letdown of epic proportions.

If anything just edit out everything but the action scenes and turn those into a short mockery comedy with voice overs  that sound like the ladys from "the view" it could make a funny 20 minute comedy skit.

lol  I get the feeling no one from ot.com watched my kill bill edit. I am not fishing for praise but just wondering if any of you guys saw it?  because I had no replies in the main thread after It was released.  Its kind of funny because I know i bugged the crap out of some of you guys in the how to thread while i was making it... but not interested to see if i got it right? lol just curious.

well someone compressed a copy of this i think to xvid and posted it on megaups.com and torrential.ws.  the second one has open signups is what he said. so a small copy for those who dont wanna use bithq.

dang dude! thats a major project spanning years in the making.  i would watch the final product even at 6 or 7 hours length. ambitious as hell. but a very good idea.not sure if you would need a lot of footage from both ironman movies maybe just the important character building parts. i think just using the portions of each movie which build the characters up to the point of the assembly of the avengers team would be plenty.  perhaps a pulp style meshing of the story's like sin city.  im in for this! you have your work cut out for you. good luck.

thanks ziggy. i have uploaded it to BITHQ and requested it not to be uploaded to other trackers. so if anyone wants to check it out you should look for an invite. which i recommend anyway because it is the best private tracker on the web. i really dont want it up on demonoid and the bithq members are very respectful of that. the edit has been received well so far. and a member their even made a new disc label for it. this site was the turning point in the making of the edit and without you guys that helped it would have been junk. but i feel it is the definitive edit. their was initially a hidden page on the dvd that was a dedication to the members of ot that helped. but in the end it did not make it to the final dvd. it just has a main menu and chapters menu. but you guys know who you are and i hope you know im thankful. looking forward to having some more time to do another fanedit and i will be back then. what i had in mind was "underworld trilogy" i would like to combine the 3 movies and cut out a lot of the more boring scenes. trim it down to about 3+ hours. it could really be a good edit because of the fact that the 3 movies are pretty consistent in style and actors. what do you guys think of the idea?

well i got a little frustrated with this project and burned out. so i took a few months off and just came back and finished authoring the dvd. i just wanted to do too much and got overwhelmed. so i ended up creating a simple main menu and just a chapter menu. the main menu has a fun animation and video clip. but the edit itself is pretty damn good! i dont like the idea of uploading to demonoid or public trackers. but it has been uploaded to bithq. if anyone has a membership there you can get this edit. otherwise idk.  a big thanks to all you guys that helped me to make this happen. ot.com was a lot of fun though i have too many hobbies going at once to fit in fanediting for now. but i may be back for another one one day.

huh? bw you confused me. eject button? low bid? did i miss something? ahh i see the sum player. looks cheap to me but for a low budget player i would say wdtv is top honors. but no internal harddrive on it unless you get their live hub model which is more expensive.

i thought i might bump this thread because i have discovered a new media player that blew my mind. and i dont think many people in the u.s. know about this company and what they are doing. the company is called "hdi" and their line of players are called "dune" media players. i have done a ton of research on these players and have decided to invest in 1. they have several models to fit all needs. most notable is the "dune max" this one has a hotswap hdd rack for a 2 tb hdd on the right side. and on the left is a bluray disc drive. how awesome is that? it will play everything as agood media player should but what sets these apart is the fact that they will play full bluray from the harddrive with full menus. not just soft menus. like most players. but i am not getting the "max" model i am getting the "duo" model this 1 instead of a bluray optical drive has yet another hotswap 2 tb hdd rack. for a wapping 4tb of internal storage and to top it off 3 usb 2.0 ports which can handle 2 tb external hdd's that adds up to 10 tb of storage. talk about going all digital? i have already started ripping full blurays in anticipation of the dune duo i am ordering next week. i will have 1 internal hdd with all dvd iso files and 1 with all bd iso files.  this dune and the popcorn hour are the only 2 players on the market that can play bd with full menus from the harddrive and well popcornhour's are cool but they do not hold a candle to the dune lineup. oh an did i mention that dune also has an app for modding the gui and will support moviesheets like the wdtv or xbmc. i had to tell you guys about this because this is the media player i have been dreaming of. only 1 con so far. they are pricey. the duo is $380.00 and the max is $450.00 ouch i know but so worth it for a media junkie like me. so if anyone is interested in owning the most kickass hd media player available today go have a look at their site. http://dune-hd.com/

4.8" screen on the archos damn thats not bad i might have to grab one of these myself and the price??? what that is cheap web on the go and multimedia. with a bigger screen then iphone. awesome. oh and in edition to 32 gb internal you can plug in a 32 gb sd card for 64gb. more then enough for any extended trip. music movies whatever you can even throw hd stuff on it.

is there two of me now? sweet! twice the annoyingness. well i have pointed out a tutorial for stereo upmix in the thread that was posted below yours. if you want an easy route use "womble mpeg2 video wizard" you just put your stereo audio into womble and go to the export tab then audio tab and choose 5.1 ac3. it may not be as good of a method as the tutorial i mentioned twice now. good luck bro.

i went to my profile and deleted the old avatar. then browsed to new one and hit upload and the old avatar comes back. i tried it at least 20 times. tried it without deleting the old one and just uploading. no matter what i do the old avatar just comes back. anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it?
