One of the changes I would want the most is replacing the Hayden ghost with one that isn’t as creepy. I would love Hayden’s ghost at the end to go with Hal’s TROS but he just looks so weird.

I think if this was in the actual movie there would be a close up of it cause it’s important to Rey’s arc and the audience is meant to see it, I think a quick one second shot might go by too fast.

Yeah I think if you do a star destroyer planet montage it would be nice to use the same planets as the end montage and give it some payoff.

What would be even cooler is if someone could make Rey’s saber on the TROS poster to look crackly like it does in Hal’s edit.

I think that would fit in great if the audio can be smoothed out, I like how mysterious it is considering we don’t know about the body transfer thing yet (I think)

Made a small audio change with duel of the fates, right when the Droidekas appear there was a weird transition due to the lack of Anakin scenes that stuck out to me, just spliced in the actual track and it sounds a lot nicer. It’s pretty amazing that you cut so much and only like 3 audio cuts were noticeable.

That’s nice, if someone could take that and animate some TIES over it it might look great with the forest shot we have already.

I really love the dreadnought idea. I wonder if there’s any way to tie it to TLJ, maybe inserting some shots of captain Cannady in TFA? It would also be nice if they said Dreadnought in TFA, or if Poe had some line about destroying it because it destroyed the republic or something. If you can show that Poe wants to destroy it purely out of revenge for the republic I think it’ll play better for his arc.

That looks great! For the actual destruction on hosnian prime I think it would be nice to get a shot of the explosion that shows it doesn’t blow up the planet kinda like jedja, but I don’t know where that would come from.

I feel like you could definitely repurpose the destruction of Kijimi since a lot of TROS edits remove that scene. But I haven’t seen that scene in like a year so I’m not sure.

Besides making me not have to watch Luke try to get with his sister I think it would improve Luke’s character a little bit in ANH because he wouldn’t try to rescue Leia because he likes her, which is what Han does, but because it’s the right thing to do.

Has anybody ever removed the Luke/Leia romance elements from the originals? Stuff like the Empire kiss obviously but also lines from Ep 4 like “Who is she? She’s beautiful” and the “Do you think a princess and a guy like me-” “No” They just feel weird with context. I know Adywan is removing the Han jealousy from ROTJ which is good.

I know a lot of people have removed Yoda’s lightsaber fights from the prequels but has anybody successfully removed his lightsaber clone kill from the order 66 bit? I feel like you either need to remove all of it or none of it.

I think making Starkiller base into a hollowed out Ilum and having the Senate be destroyed by a Dreadnought would probably work, and it would make Poe’s Dreadnought bombing mean a little bit more in TLJ.

This looks great, the only thing that looks off is that the lasting smoke puff sends seems to follow the camera movement instead of staying in its own spot. But I love it other than that.
