STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

I use easynews and it has never had problem before......are the parts I am showing missing the same parts that are imcomplete?

Some services do not allow incomplete files due to viruses and such....but I have gotten incomplete files from here before and rebuilt them using par files.....very curious.

I use easynews......it is great!!!!

And very easy as well........it finds all of the files and then zips them all up into one download for you

Can't beat that......I tried tons of news readers in the past and it was really a tedious joke to get anything....thank goodness for par files, easynews, and their lovley Zip Manager

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

Just so everyone Knows which versions to download:

PAL: STAR.WARS.EP.4.REVISITED.**REAL.PROPER**ADYWAN.[05/87]

NTSC: STAR.WARS.EP.4.REVISITED.NTSC.DVD-5.ADYWAN.[02/87]

The PAL version is only one that could be confusing since there are three different titles out there....

1st one without any proper....
2nd *PAL DVD-5 **PROPER**
3rd **REAL.PROPER**

Looks like they are both going and are starting to post on the different readers. By the end of the day the world will have REVISITED.......again!!!!!

Thanks Ady!!!!

Ady, He has a good point.....I forgot....I also had to re-install avi2dvd. It is my quick and dirty converter for DVD's when I just want to watch something quickly.....and it has avisynth and many other codecs included with it. So it may not have been my XVid re-install that actually fixed it.

After I installed Divx 6 avi2dvd started crashing as well and kept crashing after I uninstalled it. After I re-installed avi2dvd the other encoders would render fine and avi2dvd started working again.

Ady......I had a very similar problem even though I using a different encoder....after I installed DivX6 the quality when down the drain.

I uninstalled DivX6 and the problem still existed.

I re-installed my previous xvid, ffdshow, and AC3 filter and everything went back to normal. Something the DivX 6 adds overwrites something that does not install because it is not part of Divx. I think the XVid re-install actually is what fixed it.....so it must be one of the codecs that Xvid and Divx Share is my guess.....any way....I hope this may help you if have not already figured it out.

How would you watch the WMV's on the PS3? I was not aware of a way......if you know a way please let me know! I know you can watch them on the 360......but streaming that large of a file is very crappy unless you have Wireless N.

With the PS3 you could copy it to the drive and watch from there if the PS3 supported WMV!

EDIT: I guess the most recent update for the PS3 allowed for this when they added DIVX

Question: These do show up on my PS3 as playable media files like the DIVX do......but it says "Unsupported Data" when I try to play them. Is there something I am doing wrong or are these not encoded with the proper WMV codec that the PS3 supports?

When I look at the "Information" for the files on the PS3 is says it is VC-1 video codec and show a thunb of the video.
I am thinking it might be the audio codec it is bombing on? I have that issue with some DIVX files with AC3 5.1. Some have worked and others have not. The 360 plays the videos with AC3 just fine.

If anyone has any advice or experience with this let us know since these files will not fit on DL DVD and streaming them is hard unless you have the newest wireless infrastructure or hardwire.

Mojo_LA put that same shit on fanedit.org. It must suck to be him to have a guy in his home do better work than him and his buddies. You know how that kind are.......they can't produce anything but can tear apart every single movie that comes out and state how terrible it is and how it should have been. I work in the Entertainment business as well and most movie studio reps and their friends I think never like a single movie based how they criticize every little aspect. You have made a wonderful version of the film and the funny thing to me is I usually like what the critics hate and vise-vera. So it is quite ironic that the best things I like about the edit are things they "Hated". Especially the music changes in the Vader/Obi fight as well as the Briefing room music. I felt it gave it more meaning and tied to the other trilogy better. In a weird sort of way it made the Death of Obi bring a slight tear to the eye because of the events in EPIII.

This is the Version of EPIV made by a Fan for Fans.....and it works great. F*^@k Hollywood.......they have put out nothing but shit over the last few years any way....what the F*^@k do they know!

The program I used was AVItoDVD.....very similar to the other app. You specify what size of DVD you want and it will coose max bitrate for that size of media.

I have found that the PS3 and XBox360's new codec updates plays this version of the film the best. The re-encode to DVD especially in the High Action scenes gets a little bit of pixilation when upconverted to 1080p. The ps3 and 360 run the XVid at 1080p like a champ. cannot wait for the DVD-9.

Finally got to watch from begining to end in one setting last night and I am still so impressed with every change you decided to make. I love the whole thing. The attention to detail that alot of people do not even notice and probably would not know at all if you had not listed it is absolutely amazing. For the 101th time.....thanks ady for the work and as a the team of poeple that helped with the meshing. My only problem......I can't find GL!!!!!

for those who do not have it yet and are wondering how??????

alt.binaries.starwars

there are also torrents and rapidshare......check www.fanedit.org for some of this info

Several pages back there are also links to the first set of torrents that most of us that got from the news group are seeding.

Anyone reading this can tell this is truely a master piece and should be watched over and over again.....for the first time

Much Respect Ady!!!!

I have started passing it around work and already the response is the same as this thread. Ady......you should be very proud of the ripple you sent through the force. We all knew it would be great....but Wow!

Honestly.....I do not think I can complain about a single thing you did......not even the severed arm since that is what we have always believed even though it may not have fit the scene....and the flipper was the obvious replacement for the hand to match what we have always thought. Even the "biography" of "Walrus Man" (that is what I knew him as when I was a kid) says that Obi cut his arm off. The human hand does look cool and I can see where it matches the frames in that sequence better. Either way it is fantastic as is the rest of the edit.

When the Ties came in my jaw dropped and I guess I made some very happy loud noises as my wife came in and asked if I was having fun....and of course I said, "You would not believe what Ady has done to Star Wars....it is amazing and what I always hoped it would be back when the SE's came out."

Enjoy everyone as alot of us already have.

I have watched the Obi/Vader fight and Death Star battle tons of times already......have not had time to just sit and watch the whole thing. It is really a fantastic piece of work and I cannot express in words how impressed I am with this edit. The Emporers theme music in the death star briefing room was brilliant and I really thought it was great that Obi/Vader fighting to the same music as in EpIII.

Wow is all I can say.....and thanks for about the hundredth time

seeding ratio: 1076.45 ----- Been Seeding since early this morning.......enjoy everyone

you all using the torrent realize that getting from the news group only takes about 20 mins? I am seeding and trying to help you all out that are using the torrent but wow 1 full day vs 20 mins.......no brainer. It costs 10 dollars to join easynews and then cancel your subscription after you get this. Then it will download as fast as your ISP is. I was dling at 989 kb/s. There are free news readers out there as well but something like easynews will find all of the pieces for you and zip them up into one nice file for download and is very fast.

Just want to help as many get it as fast as possible

Bane,

You realize he cannot accept any kind of payment for this work. This is a Fan Edit and fans do these kinds of things for themselves and the Fans without compensation unless there is consent from the owner of the original work. I do believe LucasFilm should hire Ady and move him and his family to California and join the compund since his work of restoration and enhancement far surpasses what they have done. Everyone I have shown the clips to are completely amazed and cannot wait until I get a copy so they can watch as well.

Thanks again Ady for the wonderful job you have done and I am sure speak for all of us............quit replying to the posts and finish that puppy up Just kidding.......take you time and complete the masterpiece
