(The Mandalorian+BoBF) The Way of Mandalore | A New Mandalore Movie Saga (Final Update in Progress)
Time

I on the other hand believe this is exactly what “The Mandalorian” needed. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and also welcome to create their own vision of what this show should be. I’ll wait until this version is completed and I can see each book as a whole to make a judgement call but the bottom line is its your vision and what makes sense to you and I’m good with that. That’s the great thing about editing, if there’s something you want to change, you can, or even expand on what’s already there.
Really looking forward to seeing your version and enjoying the hard work you put into this project. Sadly some people will not like it and will walk away but that shouldn’t deter you from continuing your personal vision. Make this the project that you want to see and be satisfied with that, don’t worry about us. There will be many versions out there for different tastes.
We’ll be sad to see you go Arabian, I really enjoyed reading your posts. Some of them made me think of this show differently. Good luck too you in the future and hopefully you will return and give some insight in what you think after watching this version.

That’s great, thanks for the DM. Yeah I was there on ROTJ’s first showing in Davenport, Ia at the Northpark Mall, (there used to be a theater in the mall) that’s also where I watched Gremlins, Goonies, Popeye, Short Circuit, Karate Kid and Space Camp. I lived in that theater as a kid. I’m downloading the 3rd Book now and hope to get a DM link for the fourth book when its ready, gonna have a great weekend watching this.

Wow just wow!! The edit list is insane…I’m really excited to watch this.
Question…are the versions of the books you’ve worked on final or are those yet to come? I’ve been keeping each version you’ve released just so I can study the changes you’ve made, it’s a great progression in story telling. I’d like a link to your newest version please. I didn’t have plans tonight after I went to see Return of the Jedi in theaters again (I’ve already went to 4 showings, 3 more to go) now I have this to look forward to, thank you sir.

I’ve really enjoyed the previous versions and now I hear you’re doing even more to these? You sir are one dedicated Star Wars fan. Well I just gotta ask for the link again to get these newest versions. Most of the likes and dislikes have already been said by other people on here and to repeat them would just be redundant so I’ll say thank you and May the Force be with you good sir.

(The Force Awakens) Heirs of the Force | A Star Wars Legends Re-edit [Workprint Released]

I’ll give a more in depth review in a while but the one main thing that stands out to me that needs changing is the initial music cue of the main title when the words STAR WARS appear. The sequel for whatever reason has the pitch higher than all other SW films. If you listen to the intro for A New Hope vs. TFA you can here the difference. This has always stood out to me.

I’m just gonna say it now…I’m going to ask for links to any project you’re on. I’ve heard nothing but great things about your edits. The amount of work your putting into these things is above what we deserve. So I’m going to officially ask for the links to:
Heirs of the Force
Fate of the Jedi
Legacy of the Force
The Bad batch
The way of Mandalore

There I did it…Obviously its at your discretion and if their even completed yet.
You will make our family extremely happy if you could send those links.
Thank you and if there’s some place I can donate for your efforts please provide a link as well.

I absolutely loved reading about your project. When I first started watching Mando and Fett I knew there was some serious editing that needed to be done. You have taken up that burden and when I started reading about some of the changes you’ve made I knew I just had to watch it but I didn’t want it spoiled by reading all of the changes.
Is there any way that I could get the links to whatever you have completed? Having watched the OT in the theaters decades ago I am amazed (but not surprised) at how long the love for this property has continued on.
Thank you in advance.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

The problem with a stylistic device is if it pulls or distracts the viewer from the story then it becomes a hindrance to the story. I dont mind the lens flares so much as i do the over the shoulder out of focus shakey cam with random unexplained zoom in's/outs. There are places in the story where the scene would benefit from a good shake, zoom or lens flare but if your sitting in an office setting just talking is it really beneficial to do these things? Everyone has their own way to view films, but to suggest he should reassess his viewing habits isnt necessary. Back to the Revisited topic. I think Adywan had mentioned before that he did some artwork before but not film, I may be wrong it was a while ago I read that, Id love to see some of his pre Star Wars artwork.

Adywan...as you can see everyone has lost their mind and now were discussing asteroids/wipes/etc..etc...I feel like my mind is turning to jelly with all of this tit for tat about nothing. Next we'll be debating where Yoda's toilet should be. It just seems were going on about stuff that we've all accepted and were trying to change the ESB until its unrecognizable. Please finish this edit so they can at least change the subject onto why the wipes go this way instead of that and what is the difference between them. I'm not trying to rush you but I'm burned out on this ridiculous nit picking. Helpful and meaningful suggestions are one thing but we've just gone off the deep end here. The last 3 pages are like....huh? Anyhow...REALLY looking forward to watching this edit...Love what I've seen so far, great job.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that, like you said it was so obvious and it wasnt even like they took the effort to retime them to offset it. Nope they said keep as is. If you change this I will be very grateful, again your comparison video of ESB:R is getting a workout with my kids watching it again and again trying to spot the differences. December cannot get here fast enough. Great work!!

I really don't see what the problem people have with the entrance to mos Eisley is. There is hardly any Cg in there at all. All the buildings etc were models. Only the speeder and some minor stuff that is left in the revisited edit was actually CG. People complain because they see Mos Eisley as this small spaceport and the SE turned it into something larger. Well it was always supposed to be a lot larger and , before anyone says it, no i'm not taking this from the Lucas revision. The falcon was parked at docking bay 94. that means that there is at least 93 other docking bays so it has to be a larger place than we originally thought. It was actually one of the only additions i thought was right in the special editions (apart from the crap droid and ronto/jawa humour and stupid ronto blocking the camera). The only thing i would probably change is the mirrored stormtroopers

one thing (& I have mentioned this before when I first found out about ANH:R) that has always bugged me, is this, "stay there I just lost my Starboard engine" was followed by a shot of him loosing his Starboard engine, & then crashing, can this shot be flipped so that his port engine is what is hit & causes him to crash.

I agree 100%..this too has also bugged me to no end, even when I was watching it when I was younger. No matter how many times I watch it that scene arrangement has always seemed out of place. I am by no means as adept as Adywan, but for my version of that scene I edited that clip to better match what he was saying and the action, I also added the whelmer (SP) scream right before he hits just for sh*ts and giggles. See now I want to find that clip.

Ady any info about rearranging that scene or is it going to be left as is? Either way Im still gonna watch the Re-revisited when your done with it. By the way, my kid's ranging from 6 years old to 14 love your Star Wars Revisited edit. We've packed away the Lucas versions (2004...ugh) and now its your version that's on our DVD shelf.

I went to a 501st gathering at a Cure for Cancer event and I was asking if any of them had seen the Revisited version and what they thought about it, some said they cant comment but one trooper took off his helmet and inside right next to the right ear peice was a small (and I mean small) sticker that said Revisited, I thought that was great, he didnt say anything but I got the meaning behind it. I dont understand what Lucas problem is (if its him telling the 501st not to comment or if its just certain individuals) but he should take it as a huge compliment for what Adywan has done to further peoples interest or rekindle interest in the Star Wars brand.

Just my two cents..keep up the great work Ady!!

I know of the scene you mentioned, but this was probably an alternate take/rehearsal and not one that was going to be used in the movie and i don't think it was filmed because of what is seen in the movie it wouldn't fit in. Actually there is no continuity error in this scene. Luke has the detonator in his left in the last shot before he dives out of the way and again as he jumps out of the way of the AT-AT foot. Then it cuts to the command centre scene so Luke could easily have attached it during this time as he already has it with him.

Ah...I stand corrected...how could I have missed that? Gonna have to micro-manage my viewing before I post now, lol.

Ady, what can I say that others have not about the work, dedication, effort and love that you put into the Revisited Saga.

The color palette (even if it is a bit off from the conversion process) still looks a lot better than what we have been given by the Lucas team and this is gonna go down in history. I mean seriously, what you have done to improve what was before while staying true to what Star Wars is for most of us will forever be mentioned as the whole "Lucas vs the fans" debate. I think as long as there is a version of Star Wars there will be the Revisited Saga right along with it.

I think my question may have gotten lost in the shuffle so please forgive me if I repost it here:

To ADYWAN...Apologizing in advance if this has been addressed already...

During the Hoth battle after Luke crashes his Snowspeeder, there is a scene filmed but not shown in the movie which show's Luke attaching a detonator onto his upper left chest strap as he is still halfway in the Snowspeeder and is again seen as he has ascended at the At-At's belly.

my question is this: Will the scene (as seen in "building Empire") of Luke attaching the detonator be inserted into the ESB:R (its obvious as he is leaping from the Snowspeeder that there is no detonator attatched to the strap) or can it be added to that scene so it takes care of the continuity error since we see it attached a few shots later?

Some might say he pulled it out between shots from some hidden pocket and attached it to his jacket but I don't agree with that idea. IMHO.

Any thoughts about this? Trying to get this back on topic and away from green/blue/red/pink laser debates, title mock-ups and wampa fur, ;-)

By the way 005, great job on the website.

Again thanks for all your hard work and the pic color update was refeshing.

Hey Ady, got a question for ya.

I was watching the Original version of Empire tonight and something kept bugging me...so I put in the SE and figured out this was something that may need to be fixed, or not.

After the battle of Hoth as Luke is telling R2 "get her ready for take-off" a pilot ( think its Wedge) say's "Good luck, Luke. See you at the rendezvous."

What I noticed by playing the Original and the SE simultaniously is the SE has different timing on that particular phrase.

In the original version Wedge makes the "Good Luck" comment as he starts to wave but the SE has him state the same comment after he completes his wave.

Now I know this may be a minor thing to some but to me this is the kind of thing that bugs me about how Lucas has messed up the OT. I had the privilage to see the OT as they were released from day one so the SE and all the subtle changes kinda bug me, but not as much as the coloring ;-)

Thanks for your hard work and dedication to making this Revisited edit.

Side note- wouldnt it be a funny thing if at some point as Ady finishes up the OT someone throws him a "Original Trilogy Revisited Celebration I"? I know about 30 or 40 people that would attend just to meet Adywan.

Info & Ideas: ESB and ROTJ Wishlist
Time

Most of the things that I would want changed or altered has already been mention but as I was watching a high quality version of ROTJ I notcied something that struck me funny. Hopefully my picture shows on here:

I hadnt noticed this before but there are Imperial Probots scattered on the right side of the Emperors' shuttle also a Tie Fighter hanging in the background:

http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/hs064.snc6/167416_1514898632338_1230605332_31150777_6194256_n.jpg

If you watch this scene closely you can see a couple of imperials messing around in the back ground and one putting his sunglasses on.

Hope this link works Im a noob on here so please be patient with inability to know all things.
