yeah...but what about the OB1 speech to Luke in New Hope? Anakin would have to be called "Sith lord" or apprentice and then he becomes Vader between episode 3 and New Hope.
That means that OB1 knows who really is Vader...

One of the many things that i didn't liked about episode3, was that you see the "birth" of Vader, i know a majority of people wanted to see it, but i think it would have been better if Anakin was left for dead in the story, it would have preserved the "i'm your father" from Empire.
What do you think?

Shaw was better because:
_he was around the same age than OB1, that makes the friendship stuff better.
_he was a way better actor than hayden.
_he was proud and warm in the ghost scene, hayden is just ...wondering what he is doing here!
_when i think Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader, i think Shaw, i can't watch the OT and picture that it's hayden !

But they are unfortunately missing those frames from ANH at the end of side 1/start of side 2.

what frames are you talking about? (on the THX edition from 1995?)

i 've found only the cover, but the indiside is nothing like the cine manga one, it's bad quality pics(looks like a VHS screencap!) on a white background.

it's like an anime comic; when you take stills from an anime/or movie to make a comic, but this one looks terrific! we had the same kind of thing in France a few years ago, but it was crap!

yes, it should have been this way, but that's one of the many flaws of the PT: you don't have an emotional link with the characters, you don't care about them, you're just watching .

the cover art for the OT mangas were done by Adam Warren (Dirty Pair,Gen 13,etc...) probably the best US "manga-like" autor.
