Col. Mustard: Wadsworth, am I right in thinking that there is nobody else in this house?
Wadsworth: No.
Col. Mustard: Then there is someone else in this house?
Wadsworth: No, sorry, I said "no" meaning "yes."
Col. Mustard: "No" meaning "yes"? Look, I want a straight answer, is there someone else or isn't there, yes or no?
Wadsworth: Um, no.
Col. Mustard: No, there is, or no, there isn't?
Wadsworth: Yes.

Actually it happens in the States more than you'd think, ric. Its escpecially 'trendy' with college-age girls who go often go through several 'phases'.. the vegetatian phase, the lesbian phase, etc. These phases tend to pass as college progresses. I know this is an over-generalization but I've seen it happen to too many younger female friends. What's really sad is the number of guys I've known who have become 'vegetarians' so that they can try to score with the 'vegan bisexual' chicks.

Info: OT 'master prints' question & Lucas' claims it no longer exists

I would think it does make a difference of which LD you 'mastered' from, unless you're telling me the DE box set is recorded from exactly the same source as the 'Faces' set. I'm not trying to belittle your work and hope you don't think so- I was just under the impression that the LFL source that the DE discs were created from was a different quality 'master' than the 'Faces' set rather than just the exact same source with different packaging- or are you saying that both sets are the same LDs?

EDIT: Nevermind- found the answer to my question elsewhere. They ARE the same set: "Uses the same letterbox transfer as the "Definitive Collection" CAV box set, only with the noise reduction greatly reduced. Presented on two CLV discs (with a gatefold jacket)"
That's all I was asking. Sorry to bother you.

But going back to my original question of sorts- does anyone know which duplication houses produced either of those releases?

Interesting! Which set did you make your transfers from, as I'd assume the 'Faces' set has a technically better 'source' than the DE box?

And its one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE comedies!!!! What a brilliantly written film!

Hell yeah to the SETS and MODELS! Give the actors something to ACT with!! As to the teenagers... there ARE some teenagers who can act... or at least seem 'real' if if they're not great actors...

Hey gang-

Sorry if this has been covered but I didn’t see it.

GL (or LFL) claims that there are no existing masters of the OOT, right? Does any know or has anyone investigated who/where the remastering was done for the ‘Faces’ release? To get the most simple DVD release we want, wouldn’t LFL just need to do a standard dual-layer transfer of those same masters? I would think these are just sitting somewhere. Anyone know which company did the production of the actual VHS and LDs?

This probably sounds dumb I know. I was just thinking that all the work everyone is doing trying to transfer from the SW DE box and/or the ‘Faces’ LDs and wondering if there wouldn’t be another way.

On a similar note, IMHO the idea that GL puts forth about how ‘expensive’ it would be to re-master the OOT for DVD is utter crap- minus the SE inclusions there has to be what- like 90% or so of the OOT ALREADY re-mastered so they could do the crappy SE’s on DVD??? So how ‘expensive’ does he realy think it is to master the other 10%? Grrr…

What kind of Jedi are you?
Time
Right on!

You are a Jedi Master.

You are the best the Jedi have to offer. You have great wisdom and your combat abilities are hard to match. The Force is your ally, and it is useful to solve difficult problems, to help you push yourself to your limits and to accomplish seemingly impossible feats. Patience and inner strength have made you the person you are now.

You are the pinnacle of the Jedi Order.

Padme: "There ain't been none of them pussy 'Battle Droids' around fer years- ever since 'Emperor' Palpyteen tried to take over the Senate with that worthless 'apprentice' of his, 'Dartha JarJars'... heh heh.

Anakin: "Har! Yup- I can't believe that worthless dork we brought along with us way back when would go over to the Dark Side... as well as kill Palpatine...har har!"

Padme: "Jus cuz he didn't know which end of the Lightsaber was the 'business' end... lit it up in front of the Senate and impaled Palps on the spot... *chortle*... but then again at least JarJar still COULD ignite his saber... if'n ya know what I mean..."
