Be careful GC, some folk may get mad over that joke.

Yeah, yeah.. I know!

But if any knows the character's roots... aww... nevermind!

But speaking of Gambit- two thoughts:

1) I can't see the film Rogue with Gambit. Are they ever still together in the comics?

2) He's probably too 'Wolvie-ish' so until the next batch of X-films comes out I doubt we'll see much more than an aforementioned cameo.

Well I watched Serenity fro the first time this past weekend and I absolutely loved it. I had never seen the series but I heard (read) you guys talking about it so I gave it a try.

Other than the ship resembling a big chicken I really loved the show and I have the Firefly series coming in this week from netflix as a result of seeing the movie.

If the series is half as good as the movie I can't believe they took it off the air but these are the same assholes who took Space: Above and beyond off the air after only one season too. Anyone who knew that series knows how great it was and Fox killed it after only one series.

Same kind of situation but maybe even worse. Fox showed a few episodes out of the intended order, didn't know how to market it (though it certainly IS hard to classify) but basically just wasn't willing to give it a chance. Viva la networks!

hey guys whats a clip-show

Ever watched an episode of a TV show you like when the characters stand around saying 'that reminds me of the time..." and then they show a five-minute scene of an old episode? That's a clip show. They're usually done to ease up on the budget for a season or to give the stars a break because the episodes are something like 90% old recycled scenes.

I think Scooby was greatly entertaining in the first season and I can still watch those over and over again. The celebrity match-up ones were very strange but enjoyable in an odd kitchy way. But I loathe... LOATHE I SAY... Scrappy Doo. If only the Mystery Machine would have backed over him...

But as far as classic cartoons/Hanna Barbera/etc- anybody into the original (not the 'virtual reality' remake) Jonny Quest? Man I dug that show!

Idea: for an edit of Batman Begins

I like it myself, but both have done far more memorable stuff.

Correction noted!

And though I agree with the latter part of your post I feel that that actually was a PLUS- like DAYV said it added to realism. And many times I'd rather remember the story than the soundtrack.
