It doesn’t help either that this dictatorship has chosen to withdraw from the Paris agreement, effectively dooming humanity. Try making silly comments in 2095 when billions are being killed by heat stroke induced by a six-degree rise in temperatures. Even the worst dictators in history didn’t end the human race, something the Trump regime easily accomplished in its first six months.

We live in the absolute worst period in human history. Trump is not only the worst president our country has ever witnessed, but the worst dictator ever. Most of his cabinet are remorseless psychopaths that easily measure up to regular dictators. Sessions for example is the next Himmler, the the DOJ is now and Orwellian police force that will ethnically cleanse every single person of color. They are apready jailing people who laugh at him, what to stop AG Sessions from straight out killing people on a whim, with or without Trump’s orders? Trump could just nuke the coastal blue states tomorrow and nothing would change. A wounded animal is the most dangerous animal.

You won’t be laughing when Trump declares martial law and cancels the 2018 elections when the evidence against him on Russia becomes overwhelming, and Sessions starts making people disappear left and right.

This is a more general thread in light of the Trump regime.

He has been in office four months and has already done more damage than most dictatorships do in ten years.

I’m at the end of my rope and exhausted to the point of apathy. Donald Trump will never leave office under any circumstances; he will become president for life and die in office at the age of ninety-seven. Tens of millions will be murdered, and the survivors will have no future to look forward to thanks to climate change.

People of color will simply not exist anymore, or be reduced to an insignificant minority like the Native Americans of today. We will have the worst education and healthcare systems in the world: literacy rates will drop below 50 percent, and life expectancy will be under sixty for 95 percent of the population. The rich will have absolute control over every aspect of our lives by this point, even controlling our thoughts and feelings. People will start disappearing, and drones will be used to snuff out anyone at will.

We will become a supertotalitarian dictatorship that will endure until the end of time.

I’m creating this thread to express my feelings about the current world situation, since the politics thread does not allow ridiculous doomsday predictions.

We have jailed more people than any other civilization in human history. Even the USSR and South Africa under apartheid didn’t sink this low.

General, being realistic is not normalizing. Your hyperbole, on the other hand, actually tends to make his actions look more acceptable in contrast because everyone else knows things are not as you describe.

I did my research, and neither Nixon nor Clinton fired the FBI director because of an investigation into election interference. You are trying to derail the argument.

This is not normal. We need to be paranoid and vigilant at every minute of every day until this crisis ends, even if it takes decades. We cannot normalize any single aspect of the Trump administration, AT ANY PRICE.

The investigation is not over. It is moving forward as it should. Whether the American people get real answers or just the same “It’s Classified so we can’t talk about it” is what we’ll have to wait on. I said way back that Comey would probably end up paying for his mistakes and though I believe he is well intentioned the odds and incompetence were already against him before the election.
