Why do we always have these reminder posts from those who are afraid of too many changes in ESB? Come on, this is Adywan we are dealing with here....he is going to do what he wants and doesn't want to do, no matter what is said here. Let people express their ideas and opinions, that's what this post is for......but in the end, Adywan is in control, and he does a great job of filtering through all of the ideas, and deciding what is best for ESBRevisited. So keep the ideas coming, a good one might come up now and then.....peace...
Hey Adywan... in the latest clip, when vader is seen in his little chamber thing, and he pulls up the video feed of the admiral and eventually chokes him......is there any way to make that kind of black and white channel search part before the admiral is shown, a little less 70's-80's looking? I don't even know what you would do, but it just gives the scene a Buck Rogers, original Star Trek TV show type of feel in my opinion.
These are some beautiful shots.......a much more grand scale, that makes so much sense......which has probably been my largest dislike of the original trilogy movies, the tiny scale of the empire. Thanks to Adywan, he fixed the final battle in ANHR, which just fit so much better with regard to the scale of the empire. I hope ESBR, can get some beefing up to the empire as well.....peace.....

It's funny that Negative1 is called "negative" just because he expresses his own opinion, and doesn't agree with the posters above? Allow people to have their own opinions please. It's ok if everyone doesn't feel the exact same way. It's great to have diversity in thought. If you have to slam everyone that doesn't feel the exact same way you do, or jump on the bandwagon of the guy saying something as childish as only 10 year olds think that way, you might want to re-examine yourself and purpose in life. Your opinion is not always the right one, just because it's yours. Maybe lighten up a bit, and enjoy your own opinion, but respect that others enjoy their opposing opinions as much as you do. (2 not gonna happen, the interiors are fine, the prequels suck :)
No matter if you think the prequels suck, the interiors and most of the movies scenes, etc, look a million times better due to being made twenty years later. So, yes, ramping up the interiors a bit to look like something fairly modern and relevant to our century might be nice.
And since DMaarten had to put his opinion of the prequels sucking into his response, I will just say again that I think the prequels are great.

Very glad you decided against HD actually! Way, way too large of a beast!! And much, much more time would have been required to finish this project. EPIV Revisited looks amazing, and this will probably look even better. Great news, as we will have this movie in our hands twelve years faster this way!! Peace.....

Good ideas, I definitely agree with increased Imperial prescence.
Ady, even 720p would take up a lot less space, and would look awesome. ANHR looks amazing on a PS3, or upconverting DVD player. ESBR in 720p would look beautiful! Oh and don't let the pressure to live up to ANHR get to you. What makes that edit so good is simply you making it the way you always wanted it to be. Do the same with Empire, make sure it's the way envisioned it, and move on. Who cares about anyone else? Remember these edits are first and foremost for your enjoyment, anything after that is a bonus. 1080P looks great, but is it really worth the gigantic addition of headaches and pain that it will cause? Anyway, keep up the good work, and that Josh dude is a funny looking guy! lol!
