Bingowings that was funny crap a page back! Ady, your post office system seems like something ran by Palps himself. I can't believe they can get away with that stuff, and don't seem to have to answer to any type of regulating agency that is watching quality control and customer satisfaction. Sounds like some corrupt cop show or something.

A few signs that ESBR is taking way too long to complete.

1) Janskeet

2) Awful dancing Vader links

3) Conversations about 18"

In all seriousness, I know it's all necessary for the best Revisited version of this movie, but come on, some bull crap lies from an obvious ebay scammer, a post office that loses the falcon, then gives the scant compensation to the sender, oh and did I mention Janskeet? What's next? Another completely ridiculous post from someone like.......uh.......Janskeet?

Please tell me I'm having a nightmare, and it's 2010, and the completed 720P ESBR is being downloaded on my computer!

Kyle Neuman and Dave Filoni.....man that is crazy. Dave is the man, GL right hand man to be exact. Mr. Clone Wars himself, and a huge Star Wars Freak/Fan! Go Adywan go! The guys at the top have seen your edit.....maybe even George himself. How does that make you feel? Happy Birthday bro! Peace....

Yeah, I too was blown away by those 3d CG star-destroyers at that one guys site. Amazing detail, and very real looking. But the models will look great too I'm sure, just as all of Adywan's stuff. I still wish someone from LF would just hire Adywan to re-do these films. Someone that actually cares, and that would put the time in that is needed, but have at his disposal all of that talent and help! Lucas, swallow your pride, and admit that Adywan is the guy to do this!

Ya, and if you're like me, I just pray that nothing happens to Ady during this decades long revisited process! No Ady, no fixed Star Wars movies. And like Sev whatever his name is, I hope nothing happens to any of us that anticipate these movies and there release over the next 10-15 years. I completely understand getting it right the first time, but I also identify with the anticipation and hope that it will all come together one day, and that I will be blessed enough to still be around to see the movies! Life is very fragile, and we live in a fairly jacked up world, tomorrow is never promised, so please Ady let someone help you, let someone comb the wampa, anything!! Ahh just kidding, but come on....we are Star Wars freaks, we just want to see the movies that Lucas should have given us a long time ago! In the end, we just check this forum everyday or so, and wait for the next trailer, etc., and that's all we can do, but it's better than the alternative! Peace...

Wouldn't it be great if Lucas finally released the ultimate edition blu-ray box set, and the OT movies were Adywans versions in 1080p somehow? Oh and Ep 1 with a better Yoda. And billions of hours of extra crap that we've never seen. Oh, and uh, I'm sorry, I'm off to sleep now.

I'd have thought that the Fine Molds Falcon was way too small to get any real good shots of, there are people out there building Studio Scale Replicas of the Star Wars vehicles that are far more accurate than the Fine Molds model in terms of the surface detail etc...  Is it not worth asking on Replica Prop forums for a UK based modeller who might already have a bigger version built that you could use, I know there's the transport depending on how far away etc... but it might be worth a try !

While the Fine Molds Millennium Falcon is on the 'small' side, it is the best model you can get for the money. It has gotten great reviews from modelers on its attention to detail and ESB movie accuracy. It doesn't even compare to the cheaper Revell model. While it's Not 100% perfect, you wont find a better model for $200. Now, the Master Replica Studio Scale MF is much larger and would be great to use, however it isn't 100% accurate either, and $2000 is far less affordable. Not to mention the bigger your model, the bigger the set you have to build.

As far as borrowing models, (esp. from members of the RPF.com) it has been mentioned before, however Ady has expressed his concerns about accidentally breaking someone else's model and has so far turned down the option.

A couple links of the Fine Molds Falcon potential

You can really see the difference in size between the included dish and the "correct" size in the second link you posted. I am amazed that Adywan is taking on such a huge task as building this model on top of everything else he is doing with this project. I know what kind of time and patience it takes to build something like this. I built this http://www.starshipmodeler.com/1999/js_warp_eagle.htm years ago, and it was a nightmare due to the brittle parts (sure looks good though). Of course the Fine Molds will be different material, but just the thought of it containing over 800 parts makes my head spin. I can't wait to see how this comes out, but I get the feeling that we won't be seeing it anytime soon.

Like I said, I get that feeling too! Extreme amounts of work for only one man.....this could take a long while, but I'm sure it will look great.
