I don't get the whole "I don't like what is being done here so I will post in a thread I have no interest in and let everybody know that I'm not interested in this project but I will read and post and let my opinion be known...."

If you don't like what is being done in this edit, move along, there are a million projects going on in this site, I'm sure you will find one that suits you.

Why would anyone who believes this canard ever participate in a forum devoted to fan edits? Mr. Coward, go grab your Star Wars DVD. You got it? Okay, I just made a fan edit where I replaced Luke Skywalker in every scene with a construction paper cutout of Jar Jar Binks, and all he says throughout the entire film is "weesa free!" Now... put your Star Wars DVD in your player... see that? Nothing's been destroyed, it's all still there. You're an idiot.

ROTFLMAO!!!

Adywan, just ignore that nutcase, we should all do, please carry on, having the OPTION (yes, nutcase it's a choice, you don't have to)to see this color corrected and with fixed fx shots version of the movie would be awesome.

WOW!!

I love what you did with Obi-Wan's death, now there is even a burn mark on his cloak!! the sabers look beautiful on the duel, I have a question though, Is Obi-Wan going to ingnite the saber on that shot like it was on the trailer, or is it still going to be the way it was in the original?

Damn, I'm speechless, thanks for doing this Adywan, May can't get here soon enough.

I say F*** conformity. I don't need to fit in with the fanboys who blindly hate Lucas. While we are on the subject of changing aspect ratios we should make up wish lists. I say they need to make a Gameboy ratio. One that fits into the size of a gameboy in case they ever make a starwars emulator for it. That's about as reasonable a request as having aspects ratios that are mere inches different than the real ratio. I say any dvd with aspect ratios that are a inch off from what we want should never be made or purchased.

DUDE, what the hell is wrong with you? you don't realize how dumb you sound, I posted a link for you to read and get educated on what anamorphic is, but still you are talking crap, first you say stuff about toggling views? are you confusing multiple angles with anamorphic?, I don't know what you think anamorphic is, but let me just tell you one thing, you have to know about a topic before discussing it, so PLEASE for the love of the FORCE, do a little research and stop annoying everyone here.

New idea. How about sticking in a view that makes it look like Luke is looking thru his goggles in his space ship. And have an engine running in the background. We need to have at least 50 different perspectives.

Dude I have no idea what you are talking about, but I suggest you go here, at least read a little of it, and come back when you have at least a slight idea of what you are talking about.

Ha ha, that's funny. The originals were not anamporphic but people want Lucas to alter it to be Anamorphic. Don't f*** with my Original star wars. I want them to be in the real perspective and nothing more or less.

Here we go again, didn't someone already posted a thread with the meaning of anamorphic and what it implies??

You and that other clown, what's his name are just in this to insult others. The fact that you cared enough about a post made a page earlier to quote it and ask whether he knew what CGi was or not and that the other clown would call me a jackass because I said the Vader suit looked different from ANH is sad.
I´m here to insult others? I never insulted anyone, you on the other hand called me a jackass out of nowhere, but you edited it out already, so whocares. And the reason I quoted that guy was because I was reading the whole thread and found his post, and since nobody corrected his "mistake" I thought I would, it should have ended there but you were the one who told me to get of my high horse and tried to defend his point even though you now say you don´t agree with it, then why make a big deal out of it?? Maybe you are just in this to insult others??

Quote

But at least you had the courtesy to not randomly call me a jackass.

Like you called me? Ohh yeah I forgot again, you edited it.

Quote

Well, it all started with that comment he made towards GundarkHunter...

And now he's calling my pointing out how Vader looks different from the Vader from ANH a complaint. Riiight.

Just a quick reminder, you are talking about 2 different persons here, me and tlbauerle.

Quote

But anyway, I call truce because this has been the dumbest argument, no matter which way you look at it. No point in me even defending a position that I don't agree with

Agreed, let's put all of this behind, you agree Vader doesn't look CGI but you see how someone could make the mistake, I´m on the same page but again the only reason I made the post is because it bothered me that he (not you Darth Justin) was complaining about how it looked sooo CGI, and it wasn´t even CGI in the first place.

For instance, people thought the clone troopers in Episode II were real, but they weren't.

That only probes 1) That ILM did a great job and 2) that the people who complain about CGI are usually the ones that can't even detect what is CGI and what's not.

Quote

Why is it so hard for you to accept that some people might have assumed Vader was CGI?

I couldn't care less if he thought it was CGI, what bothered me is that he not only thought it was CGI but he was so quick to critizice that it looked sooooo CGI when in fact it wasn't a CGI shot. Again probing my point that "the people who complain about CGI are usually the ones that can't even detect what is CGI and what's not." and they are just complaining for the sakes of complaining.

Your's is the dumb argument

What is my argument again? Ohh yeah, that something that is not a computer generated image it's not CGI and that not everything that looks clean and shiny it's CGI. [sarcasm]Oh yeah you are right that is very dumb.[/sarcasm]
