Thanks Harmy! Downloading now.
Thanks Harmy! Downloading now.
Just watched the cockpit unzoom footage and i'm amazed that I can't see any seam lines at the join points. The warmer, less bluish color is very nice too.
My donation sent as well. Harmy I'm pleased to hear that your thinking of even better things for the trilogy down the road.

I'll leave the Spleen to [chyron]. I'm taking it to the public trackers instead.
While I get the feeling we've generally tried to keep Harmy's DE off of public trackers (like TPB), I also suspect it's inevitable that this will eventually happen. Perhaps it's better to have you, someone following the official forum that we can communicate with, upload it to such places rather than what I'll dub a "rouge fan."
To be honest, I've problem said more on this matter than I should, considering that I'm a relative newcomer (only been around since earlier this year). I'm sure things will work out either way, and I'm just excited to see so much interest surrounding this amazing project!
Thanks again to Harmy & everyone involved in the creation of SW DE v2.5!
It's tricky. Do we spread this far and wide or keep it more low key? Saying that, I do hope for as many people to see this as possible.
Yep it's the Tron symbol. I should know, it's my 2nd favorite movie after Star Wars. [I should add that the symbol is the new Tron version]
Looking at 2.5 now. So sweet looking.
Just having fun TV's Frink.
My download should be extracted in another 7 min.

Excuse me. Just trying to help. I leave it to chyron then.
I say go ahead and put it up! Even though I just finished downloading it myself, why make others wait if a nice person offers to put it up now? Chyron got enough glory last time. He should be faster off the mark.
P.S. I like your avatar Nearsighted.
Sorry I put it that way. I know about the link situation and I am waiting on both paradox and my spleen. Thanks for clarifying it.
This is wonderful news. Hope the links come soon because I'm off to see Gravity in a bit. Thanks again Harmy!
Nice return of details on the Dewbacks saddle.
About the -1 footage Harmy, can you say how much you've used? Also since I don't think -1 is finished scanning and cleaning up the film print, are there sections of footage you don't have but wish you did?

How are we supposed to join if i keep getting reached their private message limit message?
If you read the initial post. The person sent it to an invalid and incorrect user that has a full mailbox.
The proper address works as intended judging from the multiple responses that worked correctly.
Here are the current stats:
Inbox — 107 messages
Sent Items — 93 messages, 3 unread by recipients
Thanks,
Team Negative1
I sent another request. Hopefully to the correct address this time.
I can't wait to see the resent work your team has done lately. This is a really neat, cool project.
Team_negative1, I'm getting a message that your inbox is full, when I send my request to join the blog.
That's some super detailed work, Harmy.
I can't wait to see you do that to RotJ.
Me too!

There is one request I have, and I hate to trouble you with it, but if you do another pass on this set would it be possible for you to extend your Blu-Ray rip of the space battle all the way through the destruction of the death star? I have never found this track without the rejected and, in my opinion, emotionally wrong bit of music that play's just as the Falcon approaches the reactor room. I would love to get this track with the film version.
That is music taken from ESB, "Losing A Hand/Hyperspace" I think
Yep, that's right. For some reason all the official releases use the rejected version.
I really love the sound of this fishmanlee, you brought lot of buried instruments out from under the old CD haze. I especially enjoy hearing the theremin like sound in the background of track 14 "Faking the Code", it and other more subtle background instruments seem brighter and more upfront now. Having said that I must say that I'm not crazy about your alterations to track 27 "Leia Breaks The News-Funeral Pyre For A Jedi", and I don't know if it flows very well, but it is your project and your very hard work, so it's still cool, and the originals are on the 2nd disc.
Speaking of the unchanged tracks, I haven't had time to listen to them carefully yet, but have you improved their sound as well, or did you leave them alone? I hope you did.
I did notice that "27 Leia Breaks The News-Funeral Pyre For A Jedi (Film Version)" just has the film version of the funeral pyre music and not both, as some versions do. I don't remember which of the releases has the version with both, but I think it's kind of neat to have each of them one after the other.

Anyway, yours is the version of this that I may listen to from now on. Thanks man!
Now I need to contact you about your Empire Strikes Back recordings and see what you did there.
Harmy, the shot looks lovely to me.
And Disney may just shut all of this down. Lucas has been very generous about letting these fan editing projects go forward unmolested by cease and desist notices and lawsuits. I wonder... will disney be so nice?
Are there links to this now?
harmy, I guess this is on Uloz.to?
Can you give a link? I can't find it on there.
Thanks again for your hard work.

I watched this all the way through today. Very, very nice work on bringing the colors much more in line with what they should be compared to the official releases- really gives it a different feeling completely.
It occurred to me watching it that "Star Wars" is actually a fairy tale- not science fiction.
When Ben appears and uncloaks his hood, the entire frame turns really, really bright and white. He is like the white wizard with a halo all around him. That's why he wears a hood too.
The Force and the force theme are magic- it's fantasy, a fairy tale.
I don't know why, but I realized that for the first time, seeing it with the new colors. Anyway, great job.
I see Star Wars as a milange of a Western movies and World War II adventure films. TESB is where it starts going more fairy tale, with gnomes and cloud cities.
The original film just feels more lived in an real than any of the others, kind of like a film crew just went to another galaxy and shot what was really happening.
Whats this thing called on uloz.to? I can't find it there.
Got it all downloaded and it looks just wonderful!
Harmy, you have made a time machine back to our childhoods.
Also I agree about the explosion of the final TIE that Han kills. It's nice to see it glowing red instead of that florescent green that seemed so wrong.
From my corrupt copy, I can see how lovely and crisp the blackness of space is and how nice the fixed stars are. Incidentally my corrupt copy defaults to the music only track.
Ooops! I was looking at the the finished torrent on my uTorrent and that's why It was showing such a slow down speed.
The new torrent is going faster at around 400-550 kb/s. I hope it can get up to double or triple that later on so that I can still see it today.
Now it's in the 600-700+ kb/s range.
I'll seed this as long as I can. Maybe we can spread it to every person on the planet:-)
