No insult to whoever did that particular clip but the music is a bit all over the place.

Was Artoo really channeling the heroic spirit of the Skywalker family when trundling over to the Falcon or was that a leitmotif malfunction too far?

uhm that was how the original was in ESB

and R2 IS Luke's droid now...

Yeah the one trooper when they're talking about the new BT-16, I like the one trooper's response, "Yeah some of the other guys were telling me about about it, they say it's...it's quite a thing to see."

Yeah that was a good. It made the stormtroopers more relate able than just canon fodder for rebels.

"You seen that new BT-16?"

"Yeah some of the other guys were telling me about it. They say its quite a thing to see."

"What was that?"

"Its nothing, outgassing, don't worry about it."

The original trilogy had some of the best background acting ever. Its what makes it the greatest movies ever made. Giving lines to Stormtroopers was a brilliant move.

fixed!

I guess all that's to say that I think there are a lot of people who don't currently own ANY verion of Star Wars, but would be prompted to buy it if they saw a big ad campaign for the fully restored originals on bluray.

Just imagine the commercials...

(James Earl Jones' voice) "For the first time ever... the original theatrical release of the movies that changes cinema forever, restored to brilliant Ultra-def GreenRay quality with Dolby 12.0 sound!" (cuz it'll be the future)

im sorry the future will not be like that...

ive seen it!

Perhaps a handsome space Captain will be on hand to let us all know what's going on.

The holo-emitter does look fine in that mock up but as always I would like to see it in motion before I can judge if it's an improvement and as always it's Ady's call.

that would actually make a funny series of commentary's

Your edit of Puggo's post changed the meaning.

I saw ken's star wars blu ray review sight unseen, he can apparent gaze into the future to review the blu rays.

What I find fascinating about his posts, is that sometimes he says that he hopes the problems will be fixed, and he hopes they'll include the original versions, but even if they aren't he is still buying the set.  What compels someone to buy, with a big "woo hoo!", even if there is nothing in particular on it that they want and don't already have?  It can't be logic, it must be some sort of compulsion.

Fixed!
