^True, it is a silly name.  Who besides me grew up thinking his name was Bubba Fat?

In Spain it was worse: "boba" it's a femenine adjective meaning "silly", and in the films they pronounced "fett" without the "t" ending sound, so it sounded like "fé" (faith)... So altogether, Boba Fett in Spain was "silly faith" :S

Ady since you got new 3d toys and camera projection solutions (see the mirrored star destroyer behind the chased falcon), how about reconsider using the darken star destroyer shot when needa arrives to vader? It was quite successful as concept/idea back then.

Just a thought if you really think that will work with the now solved old problems. :)

I think it's a clever solution, because the white mass of the SD somehow distracts the eye; having it darkened, makes the eye follow the shuttle nice and clearly IMHO :)

Efharistopoli, Angel! :)

I'm not hot on the gas mining facility, it doesn't seem to move right. Other than that, its great! I love continuity!

I also think that Cloud City looks too much like a drawing... maybe moving clouds behind it could do the trick?

Anyway, it's hell of a good job, Ady! Thanks!! :D

I'm finishing reading Michael Kaminski's The Secret History of Star Wars, which I recommend you all; there you will read that GL had no idea what to do with Episodes I & II, because he had only good stuff for just one movie...

So Ady's idea to condense the important stuff and cut the rest, maybe will produce one or two good films, as other friends have said before :)

Maybe a nude poster of Koo Stark in Luke's quarters? ^^

INTERIOR: Rebel Base - Medical Center

Medical DROID: Sir, it will take quite awhile to evacuate the T-forty-sevens.

LUKE (glancing at the poster girl's generous breasts): Well, forget the heavy equipment (sigh). There's plenty of time to get the smaller modules on the transports

First of all, thanks Ady for this clip!

I hate to point this out, but the two TIE fighters pursuing the Falcon in the asteroid canyon turn to BLUE before they explode and the matte doesn't look very good to me (4:17). I suppose this is not the final version and you already have in mind solving this :)

For the rest, like French say: chapeau!

Accomodating OT to suit PT is like a blasphemy to me... No way you touch my old static screen!

While I consider people like you (who use words like "blasphemy") to be awesome, I disagree with you. Personally, I think that a brighter screen will be a little more realistic... *if* it were done a little better.

I forgot to add ";-P" at the end of the sentence, sorry ;-)

But as a 42 year old guy, ESB always worked the way I saw it from the 1st to the Nth time... until Uncle George take out from his sleeve the "infamous" Special Edition.

By the way... "realistic" you say? In a world full of aliens, light swords, robots and spaceships? ;-)

I don't care about an audio commentary

TEXT commentary, not AUDIO

Oops, missed to type "audio AND/OR TEXT commentary" :)

What I meant is that a photo comparision works fine for me (image's worth a thousand words, they say!) :)
