Info: The Force Awakens - Home Video Version; NOT Theatrical Cut - differences?
Time

As the resident “Changes” guy, even I have to say that this may be a bit much.

Are we 1000000% sure that he gave a “bleep bloop” in every version of the 2D, 3D, 3D IMAX, 15/70 IMAX out there? That doesn’t even count the different sound mixes. Or that perhaps the promo copy doesn’t have the ATMOS sound folded down correctly? Or if it’s just the person’s sound system on which it was viewed?

I haven’t downloaded, but do you have any kind of disclaimer saying that people should donate to RiffTrax (http://www.rifftrax.com/donate) if they don’t own the riff since they do still sell it (now as VOD somehow).

oh yes…zion has a plug for rifftrax in the presentation. I myself buy certain shows from them…even bought the rifftrax for STHS when they originally released it…I just HAD to (I’m a big MST3k/Rifftrax fan)

Excellent! Then I won’t feel bad replacing my old Zion Hybrid someone sent me for some reason.

Shooting is scheduled to take place in September

Shooting for RotJR, he meant (I clarified in the WP post)

adywan actually said:

ESB will have to be completed by July at the latest

You’re still right, it won’t be done by May or Memorial Day.

All Things Star Trek

The fact that Axanar raised money using the brand with the intention of using it to build a studio for their own use seems to be the actual sticking point.

Besides, after hearing that CBS can’t premiere the new series until at least 6 months after the next movie comes out makes me think it does come down to their fear of customer confusion. “I can already download the new Star Trek movie for free!”

The Force Awakens: 1.78:1 scenes in 2D? - with recreation of IMAX scene (Released)
Time

I think it should be an option, definitely. Especially since it’s just one scene, you wouldn’t even notice that the shift had happened, especially if they used the digital IMAX crop.

Before I broke the external Blu-ray player for my MacBook, I was able to use the software I’d purchased to watch 3D Blu-rays. I confirmed with the 3D Guardians of the Galaxy that you should be able to just grab one of the eyes and have a 2D IMAX ratio capture.
