The failing @nytimes does major FAKE NEWS China story saying “Mr.Xi has not spoken to Mr. Trump since Nov.14.” We spoke at length yesterday!

President Trump told President Xi Jinping of China on Thursday evening that the United States would honor the “One China” policy, reversing his earlier expressions of doubt about the longtime diplomatic understanding and removing a major source of tension between the United States and China since shortly after he was elected.

In a statement, the White House said Mr. Trump and Mr. Xi “discussed numerous topics, and President Trump agreed, at the request of President Xi, to honor our One China policy.” It described the call as “extremely cordial” and said the leaders had invited each other to visit.

The concession was clearly designed to put an end to an extended chill in the relationship between China and the United States. Mr. Xi, stung by Mr. Trump’s unorthodox telephone call with the president of Taiwan in December and his subsequent assertion that the United States might no longer abide by the One China policy, had not spoken to Mr. Trump since Nov. 14, the week after he was elected.

Lost Stars is my favorite part of the new canon and I recommend with all of my heart.

A New Dawn is great, gives some Kanan and Hera backstory and introduces Rae Sloane, the main villain of the Aftermath series.

I own but haven’t finished Heir to the Jedi. I wasn’t enjoying it and stopped after finding out it (and Tarkin I believe) were Legends EU that were finished but unreleased that doesn’t fit right with the Star Wars comic series which is probably more canonical.

so not really much so far though I am interested in more (and am taking suggestions). I think I’ve owned LTTP on every system possible. SNES, GBA, WiiU, 3DS. Also, Link Between Worlds is pretty great.

I used to try to beat it once a year on whatever platform I had it on, but I actually don’t think I’ve beat it more than once, so I’m not sure why I bring it up.

Libel is libel, no matter what, learn your law. It also reads like he was taking a pot shot at himself, not Nordstrom, so I doubt it.

She’s the First Lady saying that she can’t exploit her new position for profit because of an article most of us have forgotten about. She rightly won the case, I agree, but it has to make you a little uneasy that she has no interest in this other than profit.

Are we supposed to be using this thread for debate? It’s hard to do that when most of us just post links to quotes from people or pictures of people and the only opposition is “that’s not true”.

I like that he’s upset they haven’t confirmed his whole cabinet yet so that he can either ignore their advice or just let them run things while he tries to promote his brand.

This is a good question. I never played the Wii version, but from what I understand, it’s a mirror of the GC version, making Link right handed like most of their players. Since it was developed in parallel, I’m going to say it doesn’t count as a port, and it’s first party anyway.

FURTHER CLARIFICATION: Is it a Wii port of a third party game? Then it probably sucks.

Well I ended up learning something in this thread. I didn’t know those fonts differed. Are they close-but-imperfect matches? Do Jedi and the PT match one another? And they switched back to a more accurate typeface for TFA?

As you can see, TFA uses the same title font as A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Return of the Jedi used a different font that they used throughout the prequels. The R’s are the biggest clues.
