I have heard that the mouse droid scene was absent, but not about the Beru voice....

Awesome! I started a thread for sharing our collections, but it fell away:
Made a mock-up trying to fix the Force Kick:

Could use a lot of work, but the shot is locked off so it can be done. I did something else to the picture besides fix the kick and replace the lightsaber, but I can't remember what it was... ;-)
Nice suggestions Ruja, added them to the list!
I always assumed that Vader Force Grabs his lightsaber as he's heading down the stairs just before he lights it. There's no clattering sound of it being picked up, but that's an easy fix, along with erasing the shadow of Vader holding his saber in the shot before.
I was thinking about this the other day when someone mentioned it, and thought it made sense to keep the regular numbers since first time viewers need it for clarity. And while I'm still pushing towards the normal numbers (I mean, we have "R2-D2" and "C-3PO" in a language that shouldn't have those letters at all), I can see that non-traditional numbers would work as well. Think about Predator. We have a totally alien number system that doesn't even make sense but its obvious what is going on there.

:)
Perfect. You know what you guys like. Now we went from having a pretty decent list to have a repository of your best work!
I searched the thread for "-Angel" and posted most of his with a couple of yours. Digging through all of the video mockups would be a chore since they're just links. If Davnes had a few he wanted to put up there, or some of yours (the TIE Bomber run, for instance), just give me the reference number and I'll put them on the list.
Nice that you posted the link again, because I was going to do it as well! I've been updating the list today with some of Vaderios' mockups to make it more of an illustrated guide of what the suggestions mean.
I was afraid that mismatched lips would throw me off, but you well in this rough concept which gives me hope that with some better equipment and experience, something like this might work!

Am I on the wrong side of "cool geek" here, or am I doing okay?
One to open and display and one to keep in the box. I don't what kind of geek that makes you, but it makes you awesome to me!

Vader is kneeling before the Emperor!
Oh no, he's here. Hide! He can't point you out if he can't see you!
We actually met because of Star Wars. I leaned over to see what she was watching on her iBook before class and she was watching Empire of Dreams. I asked her if she knew that you could access bloopers on the disc. She didn't and I couldn't figure out how to do it on her iBook, so we had to set a date to try on another DVD player. Extremely nerdy.
Anyway, we found the pattern online. I'm sure its still out there somewhere.

How about you do something similar to Luke's hand. Come on it looks like crap LOL.
This looks like another job for Ady's Hand! It should have a cameo in every movie!
Hey doubleofive maybe you could make those tubes glow a bit too? as if the tube is filled with the liquid makin the inside glow?
That's EyeShot's mockup, not mine. I think they could glow, but it would be weird to install lights on something that goes INSIDE a person.
Darth Venal said:Thanks for the screen caps, I thought I remembered that door opening.
That's what I'm here for. :-)
EDIT: Didn't mean to double post. I am ashamed.

Darth Venal said:Do we see those doors open? I think the wall is a matte painting, but if we see the doors open, then it's not.

So it is the same, real door. The lighting brightens up considerably, but if it is sunrise as Ady as made it, then this all makes sense.
Ripplin said:I think it's just the way the light is hitting them, creating more shadow in the first instance.
But how much did the light change on those doors in those 20-30 seconds? I think the long shot is all a matte painting, and they got the door wrong.

I wanted to add to the fleet with my entry in that game. ;-) Fun times.

My then-girlfriend made this out of a pumpkin a couple weeks after we started dated. Of course I married her.

I noticed that when I was doing my Lando Sacrifice video. Made me sad. Nice job fixing it!
Bobocop said:Not sure what you mean by spoof lightsaber blades.
All I did was cut and paste footage basically.
Whatever, pink sabers? Day-glo green sabers? You messed with something, that can't be footage from an official release.
What's that? Someone actually said this was OK and finalized it as the "definitive" version of Star Wars looking like that?!
TV's Frink said:brash_stryker said:True, we didn't have Ric Olie standing there saying "that's the reactor core you're throwing him into."
If Ric Olie didn't explain it, it didn't happen. That's why only EP 1 exists, and everything else (including this forum) is a figment of my imagination.
Thank the maker that Ric Olie was in the hospital room to say "TV's Frink was just born!"
Your obsession with Ric has earned you another signature!

Vader's head, hand, and feet go OVER this black area. I think it actually is an unfinished matte! The lines are too straight across that pole area to be simply unfinished set. They tried to cover it up by starting a matte, but not finishing I guess. If they wanted it to be interpreted as the bridge, they wouldn't have had to rotoscope Vader's body parts over it, they could have just splashed more black and be done with it.
One could go with either Angel's awesome fix, or just unrotoscope Vader from in front of it and have it be the interpretation TMBTM saw.
Thanks to Bobocop, you can watch this over and over and over and over...

Wait, discovery, proving Angel is very correct coming soon!
