I meant the flames he already added after its entered the atmosphere when I wrote that.  Sometimes the right words don't come to me until much later (like the "fuzzy nothingness" line for the ANHR Visual Comparison that I made up for my version and Ady used on the Official one and in the DVD commentary; makes me cringe now!)

I got ESB a couple months ago and decided to download ANH and TPM today.  My mother-in-law is getting me a Blu Ray player for Christmas and I already got a dual layer burner from her computer last week.  I'm excited to have color corrected movies in 1080p (eventually)!

I got this information from someone who wanted to be in the credits for ESBR and he mentioned something about being asked not to help out.  I could be phrasing it wrong, I deleted all of my PMs once I could delete them more than one at a time. :-)

I can't find any evidence that its true on any of the 501st sites.  In fact, one of the only threads I can find is them asking if anyone wanted to shoot the Vader hologram for Ady!

According to someone I talked to, the 501st has been asked not to formally support Ady.  Not sure how high up that order came from, but its interesting to know.  I'm sure someone can help anonymously though.

ALSO:

Blessed continuity, though the Luke reaching up shot could use some tweaking (the ice on the left seems stretched and his feet may have changed position).  I hate to point it out, but I have to.

There's a few shots where Luke should be seen running away from the AT-AT he destroys.  I assume Ady want to have someone run away and he can shrink them and put them in the proper area.

My coworkers are starting to call complaining about internet speed, so I guess this is somehow my fault.  No worries.

Got the Facebook version to load, I like the pacing you're bringing back.  The leg closeness looks great and is a very welcome change.  Going back to the 1980 soundtrack brings back the lack of lightsaber disengaging sound effect.  What's the plan?  Leave the sound going and the lightsaber on like 1980, have the sound disengage and the lightsaber on like 1997/2004, or have his lightsaber retract and make the disengage sound?

Same issues for me.  It's OK, no new wampa = not a huge deal for me to see right this second.

This is my fourth attempt, twice with Firefox, twice with IE.  Firefox hasn't given up yet, about 1/3 of the way there.  Keeps stopping and starting.  Problems with Rapidshare, I suppose.

I have premium access and it won't download.  :-(

Nothing fancy, I just have Wookieegroomer's splitscreen file, run it through Windows Media Player, pause it and Print Screen, and crop the images in Photoshop.  I do it by hand, makes me feel more like a detective.

Not sure on the accuracy of the comparison on this last one.  Looks like Ady fixed the scaling.  The frame is the same of the asteroids nearest the Destroyer.

I think they were just messing around as opposed to being actually drunk. Drinking booze is actually a very bad idea health-wise when performing in a mascot type costume.

I think George will be making sure they get neutered if not fired. ;)

 It's an EU solution for an EU problem.

In the OT, the solution is simple: there is no Endor Holocuast. Plainly, the following evening everything is fine on Endor. The DSII's explosion had no serious effect on Endor.

If you're bothered by a problem that's not in te moive, there are a number of excellent (re: silly) explanations offered for it not in the movie. My favorite is the wormhole that takes away Vader's super glove.

I still can't believe the EU acknowledges that series.  Ugh.

All you're doing is making me want you to basically animate the entire movie frame by frame to make these enhancements!

Well...  that's maybe shorter than it needs to be, but that's the kernel of story in Phantom Menace that I do like and think could actually be quite good if executed differently than TPM.  Reminds me of the White Mountains of the Tripod Trilogy for those that have read them.

Strange, because I don't see that being the plot for TPM at all.  Sure its a subplot, but the main plot is about the blockade and invasion of a planet and how when diplomacy fails you need to make friends with your enemies and drive the mutual enemies out.  Which is probably what's wrong with TPM in the first place.  What is supposed to be the "Story of Anakin Skywalker" ends up being put on the back burner for trade disputes.

I just realized how ridiculous this whole thing is.
