We don't have any traditional movies, but this is one of my wife's favorites.  We haven't watched it yet this year, not really sure I want to.  So many other things to watch!

I am not a fan of college football, and never have been.  One day I happened to be listening to a talk radio station in Knoxville (where if they're not talking politics are talking sports) and they were complaining about how college football works.  I was appalled.  Seriously, the entire Bowl system is based on polls?  That's really dumb.  I may not understand it completely, or actually care at all, but it seems unfair.

I went to the Concert in Indianapolis Saturday night (one of the last US shows), and I have to say that it was incredible.  I didn't get to see the memorabilia, but the show itself was great.

Relating to groups on the board specifically:

FOR PURISTS: The intro video started with the Original Trilogy and threw the Prequels in afterward, as it should be.  Same with the credits.

FOR PT LOVERS: The main show itself was PT-OT, and most of the OT videos had PT clips thrown either as flashback ("your father's light saber" faded into a shot of Anakin using a green lightsaber in Ep3, inexplicably) or somehow bringing the Battle of the Naboo Plains into the video for the Forest Battle, making a video with both Ewoks and Jar Jar!

FOR FAN EDITORS: There were a couple new shots of CGI TPM Yoda.  The head seemed a little big, but anything is better than the lazy-eyed, dying raisin puppet they made.

FOR ADYWAN: My wife turned to me after a video showed Vader's Torture Droid and remarked that it must have been a clip from the original version (not the SE), since there was no electricity on the needle. :-D

I tried using Twitter to get a celebrity endorsement, but it hasn't worked yet.  Simon Pegg would be a good candidate (@simonpegg), as he is pretty vocal about his anti-prequel/SE feelings.  I also tried, Wil Wheaton (@wilw, whose 1.5 million followers could boost the numbers), The Digital Bits (@thedigitalbits, who is also anti-SE and used to be here, right?), Grant Imahara from Mythbusters (@grantimahara, he worked on the prequels but seems like he might want to preserve the originals), io9 (@io9) a sci-fi news site, and TrekMovie (@trekmovie).

I also emailed The Digital Bits directly.

Is it even JEJ in Episode III?  He is uncredited (but he wasn't credited in Star Wars when it first came out, was he?)

I agree.  One of them NEEDS to be the "Blu Not Blue!" tagline! ;-)

I would keep the original colors.  Changing them to match the Star Wars movies just seems to take away part of the parody aspect, at least for me.

Why are so many people being a bummer?  I mean, isn't this the same site that might have gotten us the GOUT (for all that's worth)?  The only thing we could do that would be better is convince Spielberg to convince Lucas to do the right thing! LOL

Same answer he always seems to give.  If JEJ indeed dubbed for it, then the scene was shot and made pretty far into the editing stage.  What scene, etc?  Wouldn't it be in the novelization or comic book, or any of the other scenes from there?

I will be following this project with great interest!

It were replacing the whole wrong background in a shot with the atat, adding the fallen walkers and adding some at sts.

I never noticed the AT-STs in ESB.  *shrug*

Nice to see that Ady's back in form with another massive game of "Confirm/Deny".  Some are a shame, others make perfect sense.

Take your time, Ady.  I'd rather have one totally complete version in multiple formats in September than a rough draft in May in some formats and a final version in June in other formats.

I don't think he will, since I'm guessing he will just add Revisited to the title.  He can't say Fall of the Jedi Revisited.  Although, I would love to see AOTC renamed.

I've asked Ady in PM if he was going to rename the prequels, and he said that he hadn't come to a decision on that matter and probably wouldn't until after RotJR.

I think calling them "Episode I: Revisited" (Ep1R) and so on would work, with people calling them by whatever subtitle Ady comes up with if they so choose.  Like:

Adywan's Star Wars Episode II: Revisited: Jar Jar's Great Adventure. ;-)
