Underwear removal? I'm not sure the "wishlist" is for those kinds of wishes. ;-)
I would imagine "Squishies" is a fake title, like "Blue Harvest". I told my wife about the article, and she looked at me and said "There is no hope for our children, is there?"
I love my Japanese Naruto. It is boss.
I'm imagining an educational show like Dora, but with awesome things like "Can you say 'Wampa'?"
Playing with the trial of Vegas Movie Studio. Looks like it can do everything I would be able to do for videos. Since the copy I made of TMP's video doesn't import in, I can only work with images. So I made this video mockup of the Prologue:
I like the SE ending music. Its a bit more "epic" and "saga ending" than Yub-Nub. I'm not sold on the helmet drums in their new state as its not the Ewoks playing the song anymore...

My grandmother likes frogs, so I got her this:
I had it for several weeks, waiting to give it to her, but she's in a nursing home and they had the place under quarantine because of the flu, so I couldn't give it to her. Gave it to her on the weekend and she got a real kick out of it. :)
It's from Naruto, so that's the most awesome thing ever.
Fixed that for you.

Too many new characters this season. Too much extreme behavior from existing characters. Zero tension. Lousy explanation for the numbers. Boring, inconsistent, and very sloppy overall.
I'm watching BSG for the third time now (picked it up on Blu-ray). The remarkably even-toned writing and amazing consistency over the course of the show put Lost to shame. And the final season is fantastic--especially the ending. Wonderfully agnostic and open-ended.
Lost is a mess. I'm only watching to see the end, and I doubt I'll ever revisit the series in the future.
I'm in the same boat (on the same Island?). I used to have the first season of LOST on DVD, but as the seasons wore on, I realized that I'll probably never watch them again. However, I borrowed BSG from a friend last year, and all I can think about is buying it for myself on Blu-ray and watching it again.

LUKE trudges out of the homestead, kicking the sand in frustration as the suns set. OWEN LARS has just told him he is stuck on TATTOOINE for another year. LUKE is sure that he is doomed to a life of farming.
As “Jedi Rocks” plays softly, LUKE looks out into the setting suns. On the face of each sun is a “ghosted” face of ANAKIN SKYWALKER on the left and PADME SKYWALKER on the right. In the space between is the “ghosted” face of WATTO.
This is comedy gold right here. As the owner of the only Watto Fan Site ever (RIP Geocities), imagining Ghost Watto floating between the twin suns with Anakin and Padme's faces on them is PRICELESS. Tomorrow, I shall make this image a reality.
To actually bring a helpful answer:
I'd give a PT radio drama a listen.

SO would 90% Cgi and jar jar. Wooden Hayden emo whiney douche and epic fail scripts translate into radio?
I get your second sentence. But what does your first post have to do with the thread? I'm just confused. So would 90% Cgi and jar jar what?
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure he's saying he doesn't like the prequels.
;-)
If I get some software, I'd love to try some color correction on a segment when it comes time.

Doubleofive, as I stated on page 1, watch the first 21 Chapters of the Micro-Series, then the CGI Movie and TV Series, then the last 4 chapters of the Micro-Series, then ROTS.
Right, I forgot that you had posted that on page 1 of this very thread, i knew I read something like that before!
pittrek, do what TC4e says.

Oh God, this looks good.
I always "felt" there's something wrong with the Klingon ship shots, now we can clearly see the problem. FanFiltration - will you re-paint the shots properly before you re-edit them ? (Sorry if it was asked before)
It makes more sense for him to color correct the ships AFTER he edits them, especially since these Klingons will be attacking the Enterprise in some manner and most of the shots won't be used.
Speaking of which, FF, what program do you use to edit?

I'm working on this edit again after an unwelcome interruption...
I also like the green tint on the Klingon ships. I think the color scheme used on the D-7 in Star Trek VI looks best. That model had a great paint job. The metallic used in TMP looks all wrong.
FF
Sorry to hear about another unwelcome thing in your life. Seems to happen a lot to you. :-(
Here are some more examples of my white balancing done on the DE:
Keep in mind, this is just making it so the windows/running lights are "white" and space is "black". The color comes naturally when you do this. As you can see, the colors are different from shot to shot originally, so some tweaking might still have to be done to make them match.
As for the shooting models, here is my white balanced version compared to the paint job at the time of the film being shot:

Originally the model was green, as seen in this picture of the model during the filming of TMP. However when it came time to do Kronos One in Star Trek 6, they repainted the model to give it some more flair:

The bottom shot is color balanced to the same windows as the TMP shots. This is partly where we get the "grey klingon ships" from.
More research shows that a similar thing happened to the original D7 model. It was green with some grey shading, but bluescreen spill gave it a blue-grey look, which the home model kits gave as its real color. The crew took the original studio model and repainted it for the Phase II show, but like all of those, they scrapped it and made more detailed one for TMP.

However, the grey color was so engrained into viewers that they repainted the model to this color when they took it to the Smithsonian!

The Remastered version of the Original Series ended up making the D7 a grey color too!

If I find a picture of the shooting model in its original color, I'll add it here too.
EDIT: Apparently they painted a copy of the AMT model for Roddenberry to keep the same colors as the shooting model:

The Polar Lights version is a subdued shade of these colors, as explained in this article.
I've never seen that before.
Chronological then:
Not sure on the animated Clone Wars series, since Season 3 leads right into Episode III, but the first two seasons should occur before the CG series. They don't really fit together anyway, but neither do the Ewoks series/movies. Lucasfilm just WANTS them to tie in.

005 - I love the shots you posted. It would be great if somebody ONLY corrected the colours and matte lines
Not sure on the matte lines, but I've been considering buying Sony Vegas Platinum and color-correcting TMP for giggles. If I get this new job, I'm going to ask my wife to let me buy Vegas.

Ady, any way you're thinking of using the StarWars.com Soundboards for the edit? This one is all Wampa and TaunTaun!

Wait... are you trying to say that Anchor Head isn't your real name? No wonder I couldn't find you in the phonebook!
I can't find "Boost, The" in the phonebook either!
Awesome. Mind and time bending images, catching techno beat. I love it.
I refer to it by a combination of everything listed on this thread. Sometimes its "Star Wars. The first one. The real first one." I call it "A New Hope" when I'm feeling saga-ist, and ANH whenever we talk about it here. Occasionally I call it "Episode IV", but that's rare, while the Prequels are normally called by their Episode numbers and Empire and Jedi are referred to as "Empire" and "Jedi".
As a kid, I never really put together that "A New Hope" was supposed to be the subtitle of "Star Wars". I always went by what was on the box.

Help please?
PM me Sev, you're close enough I could probably hand you one.
I hate to triple post, but they do have separate topics, at least.
I tweaked my poster design. Replaced/rematted several elements and brought out the true green to the Klingons.

I felt bad for color balancing the ships to green, but after some research online I found that they are supposed to be green, not the grey they appear to be. I white-balanced the top and middle ships to their natural green, but the bottom ship (taken from the fly-under shot) still needed color balancing. This film needs a lot of love to show its true colors.
I'm also trying out my favorite title. Wish there was a font that had the rounded "E", but I don't feel bad after noticing that's what they used on the Blu-ray boxed set I have and the novel I'm reading.
Here's what I mean about the green (well, lack of it):

This is just a white/black balance. The DVD is a bit too dark, but at least the ship is green!
