Oh god Solo, I’m so sorry.
Oh god Solo, I’m so sorry.
I like the short bit being an image leading to the longer letter.
The longer letter would have to go on the front page of the site.
Right. I was going to ask Ady if I could RT it from the SWR account, I’ll ask about FB too.
Have you talked to him yet?
Oh yeah, he doesn’t have a problem endorsing it.
Saw GotG2, highly recommended.
I’m hoping for this to be corrected, yes.
I do enjoy watching actors have fun with evil versions of their characters, but they went to that well a few too many times.
Besides, it’s a little off-putting that they only bi-sexual character in Star Trek is from the Evil Universe.
The DS9 Mirror episodes can jump off a cliff. All of them.
In one, Sisko’s dead wife-mirror is just THERE at the beginning of the episode, and Sisko introduces her to his son without warning that there was even such a thing as a Mirror universe. And no one thinks its weird that we’re letting people from the EVIL UNIVERSE just show up whenever they want. Until she kidnaps someone or something.
Maybe these guys are the equivalent of Romulans to Vulcans, a splinter group, unaffected by the Eugenics Virus. This also fits with another theory I have, that these are religious zealots (which explains the temple ship) who are waging their own war against the Federation, like ISIS maybe. They could be so honor-bound that it explains why the TOS Klingons aren’t, like they’re trying to distance themselves from the zealots.
I’m still wondering when suggestions for Return of the Jedi: Revisited will be open?
No.
JEDIT: When it’s ready.

Just because Frink has met with the President of Donutlandia does not mean that he partook of the large holed donuts.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Trump is pushing hard to drop the Russia thing not because they’ll find anything, but because it’s embarrassing. Every step he takes to get rid of it makes him look guilty, but it could just be his ego.
I talked to Frink, and he believes what he’s doing is funny, and that’s all he has to say on the matter.
Suggestion threads do not equal work having started. We have threads for everything through The Ridiculousness Awakens, which will probably get done in 2050.

Hahahaha. Trump was right, he could shoot someone in cold blood and it wouldn’t matter. Trump supporters, including those in this thread, would just say there’s no proof and that the media is making it all up.
You may try and discredit me all you like with your petty little insults, but the fact remains, they are petty and ignorant. You resort to them every time anything of simple intelligence and basic logic escapes you. It’s a tell of your over-inflated ego.
I’m sorry, who is resorting to insults?
That was not an insult, it was a remark based in fact, from my past experience with your “reactions” to particular things I post. If you don’t like it, change it, otherwise it is what it is.
I don’t care either way, I just think it’s funny that you think I’m the one insulting you. I said you support Trump no matter what he does. You said I resort to insults (like saying you support Trump, apparently) whenever I’m too stupid to understand something. And also that I have a massive ego.
So ok, congratulations. I hope you feel better now.
I’m just waiting for Trey Gowdy to go thermonuclear over this, considering how it is much more dangerous than anything Hillary did.
Oh wait, he’ll never do that, because he’s a massive hypocrite. Like almost every other Republican on this issue.
Lol Trey Gowdy. Lol Republicans.

You seem to have conveniently forgotten the two remarks above that you made. Owning them would prove me right so I can see why you passed them by.
These prove I insulted you?
He’s taken your “attacks” on Republicans as personal attacks.
If people are couping, they suck at it.
I have a problem with people naming their kid after a character whose arc we don’t know the end of yet. He may never be redeemed and be Space Hitler.
So this is a thing.
President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State.
The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said.
The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State. After Trump’s meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency.
I don’t even think he’s malicious about it. He’s just a moron who wants to lord things over people.
I’m guessing the number of his supporters that go ballistic and chant “lock him up!” over his mishandling of classified information will be exactly zero.
Considering that nowhere in the article does it actually prove this happened or in the exact way they said it happened I’d be leery no matter which side I supported. I am going to wait and see before passing any judgement because there just aren’t enough facts to make an informed decision either way.
Or, like my article points out, he bragged about it on Twitter. So it definitely happened. “I know so many secrets as President, you wouldn’t believe. You want to know some of them, Mr Ambassador?”
As the White House denies everything, Trump tweets that he had every right to share whatever he wanted with the Russians.
Was it actually someone else’s idea other than George to make changes to the movie (even if it was just re-doing a dozen or so shots with cgi) or were Muren and Knoll simply George’s enablers?
“George said, ‘As long as we’re going to re-release Star Wars, I always wanted to do more in the sequence at Mos Eisley [the metropolitan spaceport of Tatooine] because the town didn’t appear large enough.’ So we went back to expand Mos Eisley, and then to do matte paintings of the Sand Crawler and Jabba the Hutt’s lair. The initial scope of it involved just two dozen shots.” - visual effects producer Tom Kennedy
“I remember first hearing that they were going to re-release the movies in anticipation of the new series of films. A few weeks later, I heard that George was going to add some scenes that he had always wanted to do, and fix some things up. I felt we could improve the matte edges on some shots that had been done at the last minute—particularly those involving explosions. But there were also a number of shots in the space battle where the movements just weren’t right. If we could smooth them out, the action would have more clarity, and viewers would be able to follow the movie a little better. I suggested digitally re-doing shots in which the models were moving incorrectly.” - Dennis Muren
(I started gathering sources for a History of the SE years ago, kind of missed my 20th anniversary deadline, eh?)
005, are you slipping us secret information? I was sure Ady was capping Revisited at 720p to maintain quality throughout since he wanted the option to zoom in some scenes in the PT.
Wait, you’re right, confused “HD” with 1080p again.
No, a 1080p version would require a reconstruction, which is in the plans. I believe any sort of dodgy aspect ratio would have been in the XVID version, which doesn’t have all the changes anyway.
We’ll have to see.
I mean, he’s not replacing Porkins, but maybe while they’re doing new shots for ROTJR they can do some inserts for the extended TIE reveal.
I would say over 900 instances of visual differences, plus how many ever audio differences. Didn’t we have a breakdown of how many frames were different at one point?
I like the letter, maybe it would be good to sneak a number in there about the extent of the changes? Like- "today is the 40th anniversary of a milestone in filmmaking. The current version has over 150 distinct differences
LOL
