Fair enough, but I do want to be clear, I favor the morning-after pill, as it prevents conception instead killing a fertilized ovum.
I am not 100% sure on this, but I think the morning-after pill prevents implantation, not conception. There’s this brief period where there’s a free-floating fertilized egg, but there’s no pregnancy because it hasn’t implanted anywhere. The morning-after pill prevents implantation, so the pregnancy never starts (thus it’s not abortion because you can’t abort a pregnancy that doesn’t exist)… BUT the egg is fertilized, and it’s lost because it can’t implant. So if fertilization is your point of no return, I think this means this is out.
The morning after pill prevents ovulation, so it only works if the woman hasn’t ovulated yet. It just delays it long enough for the sperm to die off.

But what you really want is a throwaway line where it doesn’t matter. Which means the whole “who are Rey’s parents?” plot might end up being “Luke and a random lady” for 95% of the audience.
People seem to think Mara Jade has some kind of secret following among the common folk that won’t require any kind of explanation about who she is, just adding her will make an instant hit. Meanwhile in the Doctor Who thread, people were telling stories about educating people who Spock is, who actually has a cultural impact.
I’m fully aware most people have no idea who she is, but adding her in wouldn’t require that much explanation, especially if she’s missing/dead by the ST days and it doesn’t matter who she is.

Agree with NG on dialing back the volume, but I could really use some terrible canned crying from Padme.
Maybe Eccleston didn’t believe the reboot of Doctor Who was actually going to work. Think about how little Patrick Stewart was prepared for Star Trek: The Next Generation for the first couple years. It’s just a TV show to some, most eventually grow to love the role, but some just don’t.
What if in the future the SW fan community does succeed in convincing Disney to release the OUT in 4K but then 10-15 years later when 8k(4320p) is released Disney, for whatever reason, chooses not to budge on releasing it like they are now. What then?
Since you’ll have to be 5 inches from a screen the size of Rhode Island to see the pixels for 8k, I don’t think it’ll be much of a consumer thing.

Is Star Trek Online fun? I’m a huge Trek fan and it’s the only Trek game I’m aware of that people have good things to say about.
