IT BEEPS LIKE R2D2!
I finally found why I got ignored by jodydandyboy:
http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/STAR-WARS-EP-V-REVISITED-EDITION-ADYWAN-EXTENDED-TRAILER-NOW-AVAILABLE/post/487315/#TopicPost487315
I asked him to take his off topic posts out of the ESBR thread.
But check this out:

Adywan calls him out and he edits his posts and disappears. Awesome.
I think its great. Definitely the best so far. I'm not far into the plot, but the gameplay seems more refined.xhonzi said:

I tried Borderlands SP and it was really boring. I'm sure it would have been better MP.
Speaking of MP, tried AC:Bro MP yesterday. Nothing like people who haven't stopped playing it having abilities to make it impossible to stop killing you even when you like the computer control your movements like an NPC.
Do not want.
Yeah, I had to look for people that were more my level to have any fun. And I just had to accept that I would have a low KD ratio when playing with some old timers. You'll have to look back in this thread for the rest of my thoughts. I'd try to reproduce them here, but it would be lies.
Other than that, how do you like Brotherhood so far?

I'm freaking out, you guys. It's like they're tapped into my mind.
It even beeps.
I just shuddered reading that.Bingowings said:
If my godson is anything to go by packaging and optical discs do not remain married that often when children are a factor.
The nightmare of seeing so many games and DVDs scratched to shreds (obviously purchased at some cost going by the price labels which were never removed) freely mingling with parts of long abandoned toys and abused books, covered in dust and crumbs and abandoned boxes has driven me to pledge never to buy him anything like that ever again.
The horror, the horror, the horror...
Wife nixed the idea. She (and I) would rather have the Cartoon Network version with the black blocks.
I'm seriously considering buying The Room. I don't know what that means.
This is my Little Buddy, Berkeley:
This my Big Buddy, Jack:
And this is our Fat Cat, Kitty:
Here's a video of Berkeley fighting Kitty for my amusement
Here's an old video of the dogs playing outside set to trailer music
2/4 is the first person I've ignored and never been tempted to expand his posts. The forum is much nicer now, except everyone keeps talking about him!Warbler said:
everyone, just put twooffour on ignore and be done with it. If we all do it, he'll get bored and go away.

But the Theed line OO5 suggested has already won.
Whoever this quote is from contradicts all facts we had previously. The colors were messed up by LFL, they gave Lowry a 1080p file to clean up. If Lowry says its the same transfer now, its the same transfer that LFL did and messed up.Asaki said:

Well i got a reply from the person who was at the Blu-Ray preview at the Disney offices and it does look like we are getting the same old crappy transfers done for the 2004 DVD set:
As I was also at the launch of the Original Trilogy DVD box set, and spoke to Lowry Digital, who made the digital masters, it is my belief that the Blu-rays are created from the same masters as the DVDs. However, Lowry Digital originally created either 4k2k or 8k4k masters at the time (my memory is a little vague) not 1080p ones. And I believe it is these that have been used as the basis for the new BD transfers. Certainly, they are considerably better than either the DVD versions or 1080i TV broadcasts.
I don't see the part where it says the BluRays are just going to be the HDTV broadcasts...?
Unless you typoed and said "does" instead of "doesn't"?
But if what someone else said is true, that the colors were butchered before mastering, then I guess that's that =/

To sum up, LFL sent 1080p files they had already color treated and tried to clean up. Lowry saw NO prints.
BTW, came up with a good description of the blue-tint:
Cyan-ide
News to me. Last I heard was this:timdiggerm said:

Is that news for us? I forget.
“We’d done a lot of work on the films prior to going to John [Lowry],” he [Jim Ward, Vice President of Marketing and Distribution for Lucasfilm and Executive Producer of the collection] says, “re-mastering them in high-def, down-converting them into standard def, and re-color timing them. We actually took a cleaning pass through Industrial Light and Magic, as well, but then ultimately took them down to John to make them pristine.”So according to the only article about the restoration, it doesn't even sound like they cleaned it in 1080p, but 480p (which is crazy).
To clean the films Lowry pushed high-definition scans of the original negatives provided by LucasFilm through his proprietary software running on 600 dual-processor Power Mac G5 computers, each with Mac OS X, 4 gigs of RAM and connected via gigabit Ethernet to a 378-terabyte storage array. So they did clean up the 1080p files provided by LFL.

I'll ignore 2/4. Wake me when he has something to say.
It was just as autotuned. Every time her voice changed, it was electrical. Can she sing at all?TV's Frink said:
I found it interesting that the autotune is gone, but so is the weird vocal inflection of "FRY-DAY FRY-DAY." It sounds heavily processed but in a new way.
I suspect this is the end, as it is less awful but more boring.
