I'm not even sure you need the fix anymore...

I'd like to encourage everyone to keep donating! We're having a fundraiser on September 16, where instead of buying the Blu-rays, we'd like to have everyone donate at least one dollar/pound/euro/peso/whatever to the Project. Just follow the link in my sig to the site to find the Paypal button!
Quality of the image is incredible, yes, but it doesn't fix the fact that all of the colors are still terrible. No stars in the space shots, Yoda is blue, etc.
I love having a site we can point people to to explain what our issues are! Thank you so much, Zombie!
The quality I've seen working with screenshots from a 720p copy are incredible, yes. The quality of the colors and content are still bad. ;-)
Sky, this is one of Angel's mockups, no worries. Joke!
You don't think Lucas isn't depressed that so many people despise the movies he obviously thinks are perfect representations of what he wants Star Wars to be? I think he's taking it out on the originals that he will never be satisfied with. I'm surprised he's not trying to remake them in his image. The "real 4 5 & 6" that he has complete creative control over...
Exactly! This is what upsets me so much about the NO. He's forcing us to remember the prequels in movies made 20 years before they existed.Harmy said:
How about adding stuff from movies I hate into movies I love?
If it's not "HD Master Audio" or similar, it's got some compression on it. They put so many audio tracks on the Europeon ones so they can sell the same discs in multiple countries, if I understand correctly.
WICKET WANTS YOUR SOUL!
I'm not sure. I kind of forgot about it until recently. ;-)none said:
Any chance of the SE article premiering close to BR day, doubleofive? People should get a real kick out of the Cinefex quote.
Which ones am I supposed to keep for 100 years? The DVD? The Blu-ray? I'm confused, because they're different now, and neither of them have the right colors or fixes that I'm pretty sure George's vision should include...
When you say "interesting" you mean, "predictable", right? Attention to continuity issue creating changes are not LFL's strong suit.Jaitea said:

Apparently those aren't mockups, they're shots from the Blu-ray, according to MF.com.
Yes indeed they are, and it is interesting that it seems that the reflections on 3PO's parts of the furnace are still blue

Scanned the thread, grabbed what I was missing. Thanks!
Thanks, I don't have time to follow too many threads. ;-)
Wait, the arm is still there....
I'm going to have the guy who's helping me check on the rumors.none said:
I've been updating the below post with whatever changes people say they have seen. (some might be incorrect as it's usually just one person's pov) Some have links to pic/vid if you'd like a placeholder.

I'm going to keep the 2011 changes separate, then copy them into the main listing sometime later.
I would think so, but you'd think Jabba's door would be more 3D if that was the case.evan1975 said:

These R2 rock additions are cracking me up. The rocks never change, even if the angle on R2 changes.
Do you think they're also an artifact of the 3D conversion?
(Imagine big rocks popping out at the audience with R2 peeking out.)

I think Ady would have noticed, since that's what he's been working on recently for his own edit. I'd be looking to have the work done for me! ;-)Klingon_Jedi said:
Did they fix the changing windows in Cloud City? As much as I hate the new windows, it drove me nuts that they'd revert back in following shots, exemplifying the laziness of the SE. I'd been told awhile back that George and crew were aware of them, and would be doing something about it.
I'm not sure if I posted this, but I'm working with someone to get the visual comparisons started:

Feel free to spread them around, this will be updated and kept around. After the Blus come out officially, I will be integrating them into the Complete Comparisons.
Did they fix the fact that the Cloud Car's engines aren't on until after it rounds the building in the SE shot before that one? Probably not. How can look at the originals and cringe, but not fix any of what I cringe about?adywan said:
And i found another small change in ESB. They have added reflections to the window in Cloud City.
Hurry, put a bunch of links to your book on the site, make a killing! ;-)Ovan Marekal said:
Well, well... look whose site made the news today... ;-)
You're famous, now, zombie!
I firmly believe none of these changes were even in the planning stages before May 4th. It would take one guy a month to do all of those changes. I believe that's all the time they took.Bingowings said:
People who pre-ordered this did so thinking they were getting the films with a few new changes but none of these were new revelations were announced after waiting for the countdown clock a few months ago.
