I'm not sure how abrupt the announcement of its cancellation was, but I don't think it ever did well enough that anyone should have expected a second season.
I was actually referring to LOST in that first part addressed to you. =P
3 years. Lost set itself a death date so that they would be able to aim towards an end goal. What's odd is that's EXACTLY when it started wandering away from a goal at all.

Mrs. O'Five decided we should give Glee another chance. We watched two more episodes before giving it up for good. This time it wasn't just the bad writing, unlikable characters, and generally poor song choices recently. It was the fact that the episode "First Time" was telling teens that now is the time to live, sex makes you a man, and you can't understand theatrical characters who've had sex until you have. No matter your views on morality, I hope we can all agree that telling high schoolers that now is the best time to do things because you'll be too old after high school is a terrible idea and can force them to make mistakes they otherwise wouldn't make.

Besides, its way to unrealistic now: a high school glee club with no virgins? ;-)

The reason I wanted to stop before this was made even more clear in these two episodes. I really started noticing that not only were the characters reset back to default every season (see: Heroes), but decisions made in one episode were undone the next, to be redone again. In the first episode this season, Santana, a cheerleader whose coach hates the glee club, is told by her coach that she needs to sabotage the glee club (again). She tries, but is told by the glee teacher that she needs to stop being a spy and should leave, so she does. It's a big deal, the crux of the season opener. Two episodes later she's practicing with the group, with one line explaining that she'd changed her mind. Then in the NEXT EPISODE she quits to join a competing glee club at the school. We're talking half of the first 4 episodes of the 3rd season end with Santana quitting the glee club. It's just tiring.

Like Heroes, I stop caring about a show when it stops caring about me, or thinks I don't remember old episodes.

Unless the song you are playing is Jedi Rocks...
The Jabba that played Jedi Rocks was just an overgrown slug that let Han Solo (a well-known and widely-ridiculed goodie-two-shoes who had a hard time shooting someone in cold blood even to save his own life) literally walk all over him for comic effect.  He didn't have the authority of the Jabba who played Lapti Nek.
That's actually a very valid point.

What didn't help was all of the announcements of how much things were going to change in the next expansion. "Hey, you know that build you're still learning to play correctly? We're going to change it in a few months, but please, continue to learn the old way for the time being!" Maybe they'll have a "PLEASE COME BACK!" special and we'll try out the new system. Until then, we'll be busy doing other things.

Xbox Dashboard Update:

What do you think so far? I only got to play with it for a few minutes. Seems a bit simpler, definitely better than scrolling all the way to the right to get to items like Netflix. It actually makes me want a Kinect, if just for the swiping and being able to tell it to do things, so I guess its a success in the regard of making me want to buy new things.

My favorite part is all of the ads for World of Warcraft. Nothing helps sell your game system than a game not available for that system that will keep people from even turning on your game system for months at a time.

Speaking of which, our WoW resurgence didn't last long. Didn't figure it would, honestly. We only lasted a couple months when we had literally a dozen friends playing with us, how long would we last by ourselves? Not that it wasn't fun, we just found we'd rather watch Netflix or play Skyrim.

Glee to resurrect Star Wars Christmas special

One of George's daughters (Katie?) is obviously a Glee fan; that's why we're getting this.  Same reason we almost got N'Sync in AOTC.  And let's not forget, she is going to end up inheriting the franchise.

Please live a long and healthy life, GL!
If I was younger and had wealth and influence, I would put MYSELF in these shows, not my father's over-exposed franchise.

This was probably done because of the Blu-ray sales dwindling, they're trying to drum up interest in the franchise before Christmas comes.

If you need to B*tch about something... this is the place

McCarthyism was the first thing to come to mind. I'm pretty sure most people would turn in their neighbors for saying obviously terrorist things. Personally, I think campaigns like that will just make paranoid people more paranoid and might be encouraged to turn their neighbors in because their satellite for their television looks like its pointed at their house and they're spying on them.

TL;DR: tried to make a joke, failed.

For what it's worth, I think this is actually a pretty good change. It lends continuity not only to the light but also to the hatch opening in the shot from the outside. I'd actually recommend you keep it because these are exactly the kind of fixes that are not distracting and actually add to the film.
I like the hatch as well, they even timed it to match it opening in the model shot from the outside. However, it does add even more height to the already cramped Falcon. What one person can barely stand in from the outside now has enough room for people to stand below the main floor and go up an elevator and two doors to the top.

We’re doing a Christmas special within the episode of Glee and it’s a throwback and a tribute to the Star Wars holiday special and the Judy Garland Christmas special.
Someone at LFL is allowing a popular TV show to acknowledge the existence of the HS. Between this and the cartoon being on the Blu-rays, I wonder if its coming...

Allow me to share a sarcastic recap of the HS, 25 minutes long for those who can't/won't invest the full time:
