I watched Shatner's "The Captains" documentary. Brooks was definitely on something during his interview. Shatner would ask him a question, he'd either answer it in a beat poetry style or just play his piano.
You'll be hard-pressed to find one for the Falcon since the sets don't fit into the full-scale model. Finding someone who has figured all that out from a 3 foot miniature and two sets would be impressive. Sounds like a fun project though.

Yes, I'm imagining without JFK's Moon Speech to inspire America, it just kind of falls by the wayside. I'm thinking maybe NASA is still functional and has most of the technology to at least get an empty rocket into orbit, but never got the funding for actual astronauts. The public doesn't know this, and can assume we've been secretly studying all this for years, and just now releasing the information to the public. A friend of mine had the idea of a movie that takes place in the 1960's where the astronauts decide not to go to the moon and fake the moon landing, tricking even NASA in the process. She comes up with great ideas like this all the time, but I came up with an idea of my own, which I might actually write just for fun.
The year is 1968. Richard Nixon is just about to end his second term as President of the United States after defeating John F Kennedy in the 1960 election. Unfortunately, America never joined the space race and the USSR is rumored to be ready to send cosmonauts to the Moon. Nixon wants to leave a legacy behind, so he decides to get America to the Moon first. Of course, this is impossible, so he finds a quiet film student who has big dreams to fake it for him.
Fresh off his popular student film “Electronic Labyrinth: THX 1138 4EB”, George Lucas only wants to make his small films. However, when the President of the United States asks him to live his science fiction dreams, he can’t help but agree to try to push special effects to the next level and help America save face.
The title card is different, the page Hermione reads from says "philosopher's stone" when they show a close up, and the kids say it 3 or 4 times. The first time is an alternate take from the front, I think the rest had their backs to the camera.CP3S said:

Attempted a Harry Potter Marathon this weekend. Unfortunately we squandered too much time "eating" and "sleeping", so we ended up skipping Half-Blood Prince.
The neat part was that I was complaining on Twitter that I'll never get to see "The Philosopher's Stone" since even my "Ultimate Edition" Blu-ray only has the American "Sorcerer's Stone" version. So I get to my friend's house and look at his boxed set, which I'd never seen before:

He got it imported from the UK which means none of the DVD bonus discs work, but it did mean I got to see the movie the way it was intended to be seen. So happy.
I think we might make this an annual thing. It was fun!
ALSO: Since we skipped HBP, we didn't find out why it had two Blu-ray movie discs, "1" and "2". Did they split HBP into two discs over there?! That makes me even more mad about my "Ultimate Edition"!
Finally got to play with a Kinect this weekend at a friend's house. Bought one on the way home. It's everything I imagined it would be. My wife and I are really excited to use it for working out. We're going to get my mother-in-law to get one also, as she's been looking at a Wii to help her work out. I keep telling her that you can get through just waving your arm at the Wii, the Kinect will make you work.
Did no one see the "so-bad-its-good" thread? We were getting that ink and we needed to get something else for free shipping, so I called across the house for ideas. "Let's get 'The Room'", she called back. I added it to our cart and Amazon told us what it told you, how we should get Birdemic as well. So we did, having already enjoyed it immensely on Netflix.
We showed The Room to some of our friends this weekend. It tore them a part.
The director is some Vietnamese guy who was seriously trying to make an environmental romantic thriller homage to The Birds but didn't know what he was doing and now is running with it being a comedy to start with. Trust me...
...Mrs. O'Five and I watched the bonus feature for the Blu-ray (that is cheaper than the DVD).
It's available streaming on Netflix. Watch it, won't you?
