I hated Shadows of the Empire. Everything about it. It was too close timeline-wise to the movies that I was like "why did no one mention this?", Leia was portrayed badly ("I want to make out with Xizor because of his pheromones, but I love Han!" was too teen romance), Dash Rendar was Han 0.5, Xizor was too big a player to be never heard about before or since...
Admittedly, I haven't read it since it came out, but I wouldn't want to read it again.

It's a sort of disguise, I've got a universal reputation for that sort of thing... I'm sort of an expert of disguise.
?I love how ImpFight is playing with the title of the thread. Maybe it can just be "The Star Wars 3D Thread"?
Is there a way to make Bingowings my BEST Friend on this forum? The software doesn't seem to support it.
For some of us, witty forum banter and moral support is all we offer! ;-) Really, Ady does listen to people's opinions, so debates are important sometimes. It's only when the continue when the issue has been resolved that gets on my nerves.ctlw83 said:
I only wish I had the skills to contribute something more than witty forum banter and moral support. I do have Premiere elements but, not After Effects or anything that would be able to complete the necessary type of work for a project like this.
Try to go through the ANHR thread. The Flipper Debate still puts it all to shame.ctlw83 said:
I never said it wasn't relevant per se, just find it interesting that the debate on blue vs grey is still going on after 4 years. :-)
I just found it amusing trying to get through the beginning of this thread, that's all. Not really knocking things, just found it kind of crazy with some of the debates that went on.
But, again, everyone is entitled to their opinions.
I say bravo! Jamie seems to have created a new type of fan editing!
I don't think he fully grasps that "despecializing" means not specializing things. ;-)Harmy said:
Thanks :-) Actually, those would be quite easy to fix but I'm not going to, since it's always been that way.
Fixed that for you.TV's Frink said:

It's not, I don't think HP cares about my Blu-ray player.Darth Tater said:
I had this problem with 1.0 (pixelated on mine, fine on another), and upgrading the firmware on by Blu-ray player solved it. Maybe worth a shot if that's an option.

I just hope I can play the final copy on my Blu-ray player this time. The last copies of RotJ and ESB I burned were all pixelated and gross, while they worked on another person's.
I missed something in my QC, I'm so sorry. ;-)
IT'S AN ON TOPIC SPAM BOT! RUN, THE WORLD IS ENDING!
That's the most inside joke of them all! My college used to have a rule that you couldn't wear shorts in any of the academic buildings, or even in the middle part of the campus. K-Town PD was going to be a full 30 minute episode of a fake TV show, but when I found out that it took an entire day to film the intro, I decided to write in a campus-centric joke and submit it as my full project. I got second place at our awards show! Out of two!TheBoost said:
I like the one beating up the guy in shorts.
Crap, no idea. Maybe it decided to re-render.Moth3r said:

Crap, would Nixon have signed the Civil Rights bills?
True that.Harmy said:
If not, you can always DL the MKV and re-encode it to whatever works for you.

You know, I'd be interested to see TheBoost's film. Heck, all of your films. Mine are already on YouTube.
Perfection. The muffled voice sounds great!

Or a Star Trek 4 reference. ;-)TheBoost said:

I prefer to think of waking life as a temporary febrile delusional state.
The pull back into sleep is merely the real world breaking through this crazy dream and death is just the shaking off the illusion and the beginning of a new day in a world of infinite possibilities.
But don't listen to me I'm fruitier than a nutcake.
I think someone's being doing a little too much LDS.
Was that a knock on Ender?
That's pretty funny. I'm sure your friends will appreciate seeing how it was, and maybe with the raw footage you could encourage future generations to make their own edits!TheBoost said:
Ironic given the purpose of this site, but that never occured to me. I'm sure I can fit two 11 minute films on one DVD. duh.
Heck, I might do three, and have the raw footage as well.
Set the good example. Release the original too. Remember it how it was so you so you can show what improvements time and skill (and sobriety) can bring over 13 years. Don't bury the past. SHARE IT.
