ocpmovie/OT.com mentioned on Tested.com
Time

Tested.com, which has recently partnered with Jamie & Adam from Mythbusters, posted an article a few days ago about ocpmovie's "The Thief & The Cobbler:Recobbled Edit". The link to OT.com references and goes to Harmy's Despecialized (which I'm pretty sure I shared with one of the contributors).

I wonder what visitors will think if they find ocpmovie's thread and he's all faded out.

Now, the fact that no one seemed to notice or care? That really bugged me.
This.

I'm a robot. My whole purpose so far has been to serve my "father", who's still alive but very old. There's a girl on the ship who is pregnant with an alien baby because of me. She's very angry that I wouldn't show her the baby and knocked her out. Now here she is in her underwear in my father's room, sweating and covered in blood, with staples across her midsection. She should be really angry at me, especially now that she sees father is alive. I wonder what happened to the alien baby.

Oh, none of us care.

No, that's good, I'll only be printing it tomorrow, so if you find anything else, please do point it out :-)

And thanks for reading it guys, I didn't expect that anyone would want to :-)
Oh, there were a few things, I thought it was too late! I'll scan through it real quick again.

EDIT: Dang it, don't have time. It was just little tweaks, nothing major.

Info Wanted: Question about "Faces" VHS subtitles

I didn't realize that transfer of Ghostbusters was released on VHS. I had the Family Collection clamshell and while it was P&S, it didn't have those awful strobing pans, at least not that I remember. (FYI, I first discovered that version when Comedy Central used to run the movie in the early 2000s.)

Maybe it was released on VHS around the time of the 15th anniversary DVD?
Yep, exactly, 1999, my last VHS. I had the clamshell growing up, even if I didn't know what widescreen was I'm sure I would have noticed what was going on on that 15th anniversary thing.

AFAIK, in the 90s only Sony derived pan-and-scan versions from HD masters. And they looked positively awful. If it ever comes on again, catch the P&S version of Ghostbusters. It's literally headache-inducing, with very mechanical, linear, and soap-opera-like 60i pans over the 24fps image.
I had it on VHS, perhaps the worst P&S ever. So obvious, made me mad.
