Well that, and for bringing the toxic fan discussion from the other threads into one of a handful of threads I actually visit in this place anymore.
I reported it.
Could we not, people?
The Silver Screen Edition, the SE is what’s bad.
Chewielewis say: “On the SE and the GOUT it’s a clean cut”. And in his picture example, it’s written: Special Edition Team Blue.
I missed that part. That makes no sense, since I can’t beliece any film damage would have happened between the creation of the SE and the DVD version 7 years later.
The Silver Screen Edition, the SE is what’s bad.
People like talking about suggestions. It only is unnecessary if the conversation goes round and round in circles.
Yep!

You have to put every able body/ship on the line when it’s your last stand.
If you need an American to dub over the Brits to keep with tradition, I’m always available!
I should have stressed that he misses wildly.
Have Beckett shoot at Han repeatedly at the end before Han shoots him.
I wasn’t aware Conan did something!
I think it’s crazy that AMC wanted to use some (why only some?) shots from the original version, and had to do like the rest of us and go to the internet. With George Lucas standing (virutally) right there!
So I was streaming it on my browser, happened to pause at a frame that showed film damage, and quickly grabbed a screenshot. We can’t really compare compression as I’m not sure what resolution my frame was running in, what the stream compressed vs the live broadcast, etc.
The AMC is cropped, so I cropped GOUT and DE2.7 to match.
It couldn’t be from another film source unless that damage was on the negative, right? I don’t have Silver Screen to compare with.
The GOUT has a warp that DE doesn’t.
I think that AMC’s show “James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction” used DE as a source for their theatrical shots.

Holy shit. It’s a mix of the SE and Despecialized.
There’s frame damage on this TIE fighter that matches the source DE used, possibly just DE. The middle is 2.7, can anyone grab the frame from 2.5 for color matching? Top is the GOUT.
I’ll try to remember to skim it when I get home and see what I can see.
Perfection. And a little slice of home to boot.
Oddly enough I believe I actually already suggested the Boba Fett “Mr. F” joke.
“he hadn’t”
You’re really going to make me look for that post?
