Decided to compare them with the Holiday Special:

I just assumed the title was written in Korean or whoever animated it and they were too lazy to change it. It never occurred to me that it was Wookiee or something in-universe. I'm actually kind of impressed with something about the Holiday Special! While other people were pretending the Imperials would like the music of Starship, someone else was thinking "The Wookiees wouldn't be watching something that had English text, we've got to come up with another language!"

I think that it's Gary Mitchell, At first i was thinking more along the lines of Charlie Evans, but i think Mitchell would make a better villain because he was Kirks best friend. Plus Benedict is a little too old to play a 17 year old boy.

As much as this makes sense, apparently

1. They've done Gary Mitchell in the Trek09 comics

2. They've said that the comics based on Trek09 are actually canon.

So probably not.
Remember Lost? Those guys lie. ;-)

The upcoming episode of the Ready Room my friends say they've hit upon who they think it is, and its no one people seem to be talking about...

Could be Charlie X. Or Gary Mitchell. Or Trelane. Or Apollo. Or any number of super powerful beings Kirk ran into in TOS.

My favorite part is the line in the synopsis:

"they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for"

How does one "detonate" a fleet, or what it stands for? That's not a verb to be used like that.

It's become a running joke on the Star Trek podcast I frequent.

Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome (release date) I would have posted this earlier if not for the error messages!

So, are these Cylons meant to be an updated design that fits somewhere between the classic era and the nubsg era? - or are they some sort of genetic experiment?
They moved pretty fast, I think they are elite soldiers instead of the rank & file models we've seen before. Not "Centurions" as it were.

005: Certain explosions/flashes during reel #1 of ANH arrive one frame early (or late) in the 97SE.

I discovered these by running a scene-change-detection algorithm on reel #1 of GOUT and 97SE (TB) and diff'ing the results.

Are these one-frame differences something you're interested in recording?
I've got some frame diffences already, but I'm not sure at this point. It's still a sign of a change, but we could also say "all this stuff was redone"...

The correction only makes it slightly less funny.  Slip case only!?  Good luck on that sale!
That movie is pretty dumb, but I'd be willing to buy the slip case for my Star Trek Original Series Season 1 Blu-ray. The rest of my collection has their slip cases and having the insert backwards helps to be able to read the disc listings without removing the first and last discs. Amazon sent me one without a slip case, and while they did credit my account like $20, I still really want the slip case.
