I thought it had bad interlacing, or was that something else?

I don't have enough hair to comb.
No, I literally had no idea that it used to be called that.AntcuFaalb said:

Sarcasm? I can never tell on the WWW...

20th Century Fox should have been renamed 21st Century Fox.
As a kid I thought the name was in reference to the future, once I realized that I was already in the 20th century, I thought "they're going to look really stupid in a few years"
Even renaming to Fox Films or something.
20th Century Fox has that name because of the merger of Fox Films and 20th Century Pictures, Inc. in 1935.
Reverting to Fox Films might be OK today, however...

I'm pretty sure that was LucasArts licensing the brand. Which is ALL they'll do now. It just depends on who pays to use the license.DominicCobb said:
I think we all need to realize that SW isn't necessarily any worse off because of this. Remember those Wii and Kinect games? Remember that Han Solo signing and dancing load of shit?
What happens at 11 o clock?
DAD!
"This show has been just fine for 50 years, and we rebooted it 8 years ago with rousing sucess. Now that I'm in charge, the people watching seem to be going down. Obviously we have to CHANGE EVERYTHING! (But keep me around, its not my fault)"

Nazis. I hate these guys.
"It's like it's quite possible that Picasso would have loved to use Photoshop for some of his paintings if it was available back then, but if you take a picture from Picasso and recreate it in Photoshop, it's not going to be the same picture and it can hardly be used to demonstrate Picasso's brush techniques."
I love you Harmy.
I think that'd be news to them. Starting a new ongoing "Star Wars #1" series a couple months before you lose the license seems silly. Unless they just want to put out all they can before it's too late.skyjedi2005 said:
How come Entertainment weekly is saying this is Dark horse's swan song for star wars comics, are they just guessing Disney is going shut them down soon, or jumping the gun?
Both of those were RTD, not Moffat.Warbler said:

I didn't imagine they would go too far back. Moffat seems to hate even referencing past seasons, let alone past Doctors, & most of the references to the Classic Who seem to be tongue-in-cheek.
what about the episodes with Sarah Jane and the one with Jo Grant? those seem like more than just tongue-in-cheek references.
Which I think is my point, Moffat doesn't care about the rest of the series, only the bits he created.doubleofive said:If those old guys would confuse you, you are not a real Whovian. Also keep in mind, this isn't an anniversary of the new series, this is the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the original series.
Having all of these old guys show up would only serve to confuse this "next generation." It would probably confuse me, and I don't mind reading wikis to figure out what people are talking about.

Nope. Just those two, John Hurt, and the lady who played the daughter of the Brigadier earlier this season.Warbler said:

It would have been interesting to see the interaction between the three, but 10 & 11 should have some fun together.
are they going to have any of the Doctors from the original series?
I had to share that one on Twitter.
We don't even have RDR anymore! :-(Johnny Ringo said:

Also getting back into RDR in a big way, especially trying to complete free roam challenges. Anybody got it and want to posse up?
It's too bad that Fives thinks he's too cool for gaming these days.
I did another movie commentary with the fine folks that helped me do the Revisited one, this time joined by Mrs. O'Five to talk about "Inception."
http://maxhegel.podbean.com/2013/04/07/inception-commentary/
Unfortunately, I just remembered this morning that it was you guys who convinced me to see it, so I am ashamed for not mentioning it in the commentary.
Just like Revisited, you don't have to be watching the movie to appreciate it, and don't expect too much technical detail from it.
What a terribly average episode of Doctor Who:
1. Doctor leaves Companion alone on alien planet.
2. Companion gets in trouble.
3. Doctor goes out of his way to save someone, ends up condemning everyone.
4. Doctor tries to sacrifice himself because he's The Doctor.
5. Companion comes to the rescue using some kind of magic that will never be used again.
A lot of dependency on the Screwdriver this episode, I think he's going to lose it sooner rather than later. Maybe he'll get 10's during the 50th.
There is a lot of focus on the companions in Moffat Who. Like the Doctor himself isn't mysterious enough.
The problem with sports movies is the titles usually give away what happen. "The Team That Won The Important Game: The Movie: Based On The Amazing True Story".
WILL THEY WIN?!
It's mentioned in the script descriptions, but not in the dialog.
I'm sure its from Jedi. He leaves & goes back to his stardestroyer several times in that one.
It would have been interesting to see the interaction between the three, but 10 & 11 should have some fun together.
He wasn't here for very long to connect Father Skywalker and Sam together....blowfish said:
You idots can call me a troll if you want but Im not Sam or Father Skywaker or anybody. why couldn't you just let a guy post in a Star War sforum without jumping all over my balls? now I can't even sleep cause of you.
I'm going to see what I can do with the software I had bought for me. Maybe I'll do it this summer, two years later. ;-)
