Today (for the remaining 15 minutes) is my birthday.  Part of the treat was going to see Star Trek Into Darkness.  I've been avoiding this thread, so I may have catching up to do, but man, this movie was awesome!  Just had to say how pleased I was, especially when compared to the first.
SHHHH, I agree with you, just come over here and watch the fighting brew.

In this shot, it was never removed, just brightening the overly darkened image of the BD brings it out more. The only inside-cockpit shot  that had the transparency removed was the first one in this clip (and I did restore it there).
Yeah, the only one they use an an example is the only example. That's why they use it over and over again.

Video Games - a general discussion thread
Time

Mrs O'Five and I decided to sell our never-really-used 3DS and DSi back to Gamestop along with all of our games. I know I've said I'd not go back there after being given a hard time for cancelling a pre-order, but I decided to suck it up and go back. Thankfully they were under new management, which is actually the old management who sold us all of our games over the years. Anyway, we've been looking at upgrading our refurbished launch 360 for an Elite for several years now, and after getting really good prices for the DS's, the manager and I figured out that I could sell my old 360 (without the hard drive) and Kinect and get a new system and transfer cable (to move my stuff from my 20 GB drive). Man, the new system is so quiet. I immediately started installing our most played games to the hard drive and downloaded the copy of Arkham City which came with it.

Only after I got home did I realize that the new system didn't come with a Kinect like I thought and the controller didn't have the battery pack, but thankfully our manager friend traded us back our Kinect and battery pack.

So, Arkham City is pretty awesome.

FUN FACT: We kept all of our receipts, so I was able to show the manager the exact day he sold us the original 360 5 1/2 years ago.

You should at least stick with TNG for a while. The general consensus is they didn't hit their stride until the third season. The first two seasons have their moments though.
I watched them for the first time this year on Blu-ray, and I think that TNG S1-2 are still in the valley started by TOS S3, and starts climbing back up the peak in TNG S3.

What PDF?
The Visual Comparison is available on the disc of ANHR in a PDF format.

No, new shots would not count as major edits. Major edits would be timing changes, deletion of lines, rearrangement of scenes (technically, fanedit.org's definition of a "fan edit"). Since the only times Adywan is doing that to ESBR is to bring it back to the theatrical timing and lines, this is technically the Purist version (and not a fan edit in the strictest of terms).
