i really hate in the bluray version during the battle of hoth that the dish gun when it fires at the walkers leg just vanishes.it doesn't show the leg light up anymore to show it took some kind of damage.adywans version doesn't show this either.still hoping he puts that back in.
This is a change I'm not sure I'm familiar with, and knowing changes is kind of my thing. Please elaborate.

The Sisterhood of Karn owed The Doctor for stopping the Time War, so when The Doctor was finally ready to retire from his adventures in space and time he returned to Karn and the sisterhood wiped up some regeneration brew that allowed the Doctor to regenerate once again into his Tom Baker form.
Makes sense to me!

I would have liked to have seen the War Doctor getting his hands dirty.

And I would have liked to have seen the other baddies of the Time War.

It just seemed like a war... too wimey not timey enough.
I'm sure one of the reasons they showed McGann regenerating into a young Hurt was to give us another few hundred years of Doctor stories in book or comic form. I think it would be interesting, I imagine even a "warrior" Doctor would have difficulty getting his hands dirty.

The end of last season, Clara had her bit about being there all the time with the Doctors blah blah, and then we were introduced to the 'War Doctor'...so what happened? They just all go home and carry on with their lives???

Who they? All the Doctors always had Clara save their lives, Smith and Clara exit the timestream and live life, Clara now knowing the Doctor's Secret Shame.
WTF was Tom Baker doing there??

Apparently The Doctor will eventually revisit his 4th form and retire sometime in the past, making him super old in 2013.
Why couldn't the Tennant & Smith Docs remember anything?????
I believe Tennant can't remember anything as changing the nature of his character as "The Man Who Regrets" would have negated everything we saw the Doctor do from that point in Tennant's regen on, which would have erased the last few seasons of the show, and since we saw those things happen, they can't be erased. Something like that.

Smith remembers, which is why he gives the speech about finally having a destination: home.

I have no idea what happened. My son was asking me, and I just looked at him!!

someone care to explain?!?! Please

SPOILERS

Since the new series began, the Doctor has been beating himself up over killing all of the Time Lords and Daleks to stop the war, making him the last of the Time Lords. Once Clara and not-Rose convinced The War Doctor that he doesn't HAVE to do that, all THIRTEEN Doctors team up to freeze Gallifrey and send it into a pocket/alternate dimension. Unfortunately, time won't let any of the Doctors but Eleven remember that they DIDN'T blow up Gallifrey, just froze it.

Now begins what I hope is the next phase of new Who: The Eleventh+ Doctor now has a purpose to his travels. Gallifrey is out there. He Is Not Alone.

They come across like sugar-coated candy sticks in the Geonosis arena.

I never could put my finger on what was wrong with the lightsabers in that scene. The coloring? The casual way they're handled by a crowd of Jedi? It went beyond their over-use, as RedLetterMedia mentioned. Something else is wrong that only my subconscious can detect.
I think that may be it for me. The prequels got rid of the "lightsabers have weight" idea that the OT had, which seems to add to the cheapness of the lightsaber in the prequels.

wow,  we now know how the 8th doctor "died".   Now what we need is John Hurt regenerating to Christopher Ecceston.
My dream is to have 10 & 11 make peace with themself as Hurt is dying, then he regens into 9, and the episode ends with him grabbing Rose's hand in "Rose" and saying "run".

I'm sure this has been mentioned already, but I've always found Wedge's "they're heading for the medical frigate!" line to be slightly comical.

You could insert this line in an absurd way in a number of inappropriate scenes.  First one I thought of was changing the line when they're inside the Death Star- "copy gold leader, I'm already on my way out" to "copy gold leader, I'm heading for the medical frigate" (or, "I'm already heading for the medical frigate").
Or make it like "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard!" meme, give it a nice techno beat.

well that documentary on the special edition VHS changes narrated by george should be included in revisited.

This one

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcqAxYon-Qw

And either as he talks about stuff that was done it gets a approval stamp or a rejected stamp. or possibly extended laser disc documentary on the special edition release would be something many would not have seen.

I think that would be quite amusing too.
Bonus feature preservation is best left to other projects, not Revisited.
