Thanks doubleofive. What is your avatar? Would I be right in guessing it's a photo of yourself, circa 1980?? Makes me want to dig out old Christmas photos for a scan :)
But yes, its me from Halloween 1987.
I ended up seeing that in another post lol. I was going to be conservative and say '83 or '85 but that t-shirt and lightsaber look way old school! Still makes me want to find those old pics...
I feel old ;(
DOUBLE STANDARDS!

I have no idea where you got the idea that MST3K was like the Twilight Zone! LOLdoubleKO said:
MST3K. WTF?!! This was not what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be like Twilight Zone or something. It seems like a good idea but I'm for damn sure not going to watch them all. Any fans of the show out there that can recommend best eps?
I plucked it from my imagination based on the name of the show :P Thanks for the recommendations!
Sounds fantastic. I don't know if I ever finished the game due to its shonky controls. I still enjoyed it quite a bit though and would love to see this.
Red's walking home.
Hey kid, you look strong enough to pull the ears off a Gundark.
You know...
THE TWILIGHT ZONE.
Or did you mean - What? What on Earth gave you that idea?

E.T. (1982)
I had fond memories of watching E.T. as a child. Then I watched it again. 4/10
Explain this one to me. It's one of my favorites.
I just really don't like it anymore. It seems way more dated than something like Jaws which was made five years earlier. The movie seemed terminally long with a few brief moments of enjoyment that are transcended by the score. It is too emotionally contrived and lacking in enough interesting plot development or sense of progression. All my opinion of course. I didn't like any of the acting performances except for Drew Barrymore's. As a kid it was 8/10. I guess this is one that has slipped away with my old age :(
I didn't bother to get the facts and jumped the gun with my opinionated post. I thought she was younger and did not know she worked for Lucasfilm. *shame* She is an acceptable target for sure.
I've been wrong about everything lately. I just hope I am wrong about the MIAMI CHEAT winning the NBA Championship. Wrong thread, I know... wrong again :(
Ah, well. Shows what I know. And certain Sony employees...
I agree with everything you've said CO and I have no problem if you guys want to continue this discussion, but IMO publicly scrutinizing KL's reaction to something that reflects badly on us in the first place is only adding fuel to the fire. Besides, her opinion is not of special importance.
And of course Michael is better than Kobe :)
*edit* Actually I guess her opinion is of special importance. If George will not turn to the good side, then...
*shutting up now*

I would have more respect for her if she didn't address any SW questions, and told us she didn't make the movies and she'll let her dad answer for the work he does.
I agree with this but Star Wars fans should not bother George's family about Star Wars at all. She isn't responsible for his revisionism and shouldn't be looked down on or pitied for defending her father's view no matter how outrageous it seems, nor should fans put her in a position to have to do so.
I don't think she has been brainwashed, as some have put it - George really believes that's what Star Wars is now. I think the scenario zombie laid out above is extremely likely. I'm sure she is not forbidden from watching OOT/97SE, she is probably sick to death of Star Wars, hasn't bothered to check it out and is defending her father because that's what people do.
Baiting such as this only hurts our cause, we come off as rabid fans and it is likely to make the bearded one dig his heels in even further.
The PS2 "chip" was a red laser I think. Early models had red and blue lasers but then they shafted the red to effect a retail price drop. The blue laser can read PS3 and most PSX games but you need red for PS2. I'm not 100% on this but that's how a Sony employee explained it to me.
That's two you owe me, junior.

2KO I hope you downloaded the DL DVD version, the ending is way better!
Bugger. Got the mp4. Oh well, what's another 9GB eh? FE.org here I come!
Oh, hai Frink! Kinda been avoiding this thread cos I can't resist clicking your links. (Don't want too many spoilers before it's ready). Today I caved and watched half a dozen or so. Now, the problem is I've just finished downloading L8wrtr's edit, and I can't watch it without expecting ridiculous things to happen. And they don't :(
I might have to get up to date and check out the Doctor Who thread. I've only seen the first two and didn't pay full attention. I didn't know what the hell was going on.
Now there are two of them!
Is that language really necessary Greeny? I thought you had him on ignore too.
Don't feed the trolls!
