Blade Runner HDTV (Released)

Word is that this HD version may be nothing more then a UPSCALED version of the actual DVD, HDNET has upscaled a bunch of films for HD broadcast and as they do not have HD masters (at this time) they upscale & process the existing DVD's for HD broadcast - I may be wrong but I don't think that the B.R. is true HD based on the pictures posted it looks like an upcscaled film (the HD version looks a bit more washed out and the taillights and street signs have finer definition on the DVD capture)

I may be wrong but if this was a real HD version don't you think it would be all over the net (like digitalbits and that WB mastered the film in HD and don't you think that TNT (has the BR rights to broadcast), Showtime (I think they have the rights) and the other HD channels would be showing it now also? Again I may be wrong...

You're wrong. This is a completely different master.

Has there been an attempt to reconstruct the films soundtrack by using the soundtracks from other star wars movies that ROTS used? I know that the re-entry scene is originally from TPM, and on it's 2-disc set. As well as the scene where anakin marches on the Jedi temple is on the AOTC soundtrack. I'd like to see a 2-disc set for ROTS, or to reconstruct the full version of the films score.

There is one. It also includes cues from the various video games as well. Same thing has been done for Clones.

Wal-Mart gets Star Wars bonus disc for ROTS

Just picked it up from the post office.

It's broken up by:
The story of Anakin Skywalker: 30m 01s
The story of Luke Skywalker 29m 56s

Anakin includes only Phantom Menace and Clones and was obviously filmed before Sith. It literally takes you step-by-step through the first two movies

Luke includes SW, E and Jedi

It looks like this is exactly what was on FOX...although I haven't seen it since they were originally on. It literally takes you step-by-step through the the first 5 movies.

Full screen. 2.0 Stereo sound. No chapter stops.
