I have absolutely no idea what you just said. I don't know anything about "script" or changing it unfortunately. And if I can't figure out how to do all of this, then I might as well scrap all of my Criterion ideas at this point.

I'm SO frustrated that there's not an easy way of doing this. I asked DVDRhelp as well and did what they told me but it still doesn't work.

For some reason...ugh.

Hey all,

needing some help with my version of The Game.

Some of the extras have 2 different audio tracks and I'm having a lot of trouble making "links" in the menus so that the two different tracks will play when selected. Does anyone have any experience in this? I was told that I had to create an "audio" menu that will relate back to the first, which I've done...but it still doesn't play the second audio track. It only plays the first. I'm thinking maybe because I have different "extras" on the same page that it's just reverting back to the first? I don't know. Help!

You have to see the Epic version. The one they show on TV. There may be other differences as well. They didn't JUST use the same version for the home video version. That was mostly the same but slightly different. The Epic was produced for TV in the 70's I believe. The Epic on video didn't come out until years later.

THX...not true.

The TV version had a VERY different intro to GF2. There was also a different intro altogether.

Well kids...we're back on track with The Game. I don't think i'm going to make the first disc (movie) a dual layer disc unless people really want it.

I should have it done this week. Pretty simple.

That is definitely not true. I have a few that were never on the LD or DVD releases.

The skits were the last reason I wanted it. I want the trailers first and foremost. And I want the Making of Special as well. Those won't be "easter eggs" so I'm still looking for that 4th disc.

hey all,

anyone planning on getting the 4 disc edition? Here in R1 we’re only getting 3 discs.

Was wondering if someone was planning on torrenting that 4th disc or if i could get a copy of it?

Prefer someone in NTSC (Mexico/brazil/etc) but will take anything at this point.

Well, kids...

Looks like I might be holding off on The Game. The BBFC just approved all the extras from the Criterion set for release on DVD in the UK. I'm sure the US will get something soon as well. I may just postpone to see if they include all of the extras. *sigh*
So annoying after I've already put the work into it. But at least we'll have a great official release.

Yes there is. It wasn't projected at 4x3. Rumor has it that WB is putting out a proper widescreen version of the uncut print soon.

You're losing resolution by doing that. DVDshrink re-encodes everything.

It can be downloaded from at least two DC hubs, too. I definitely saw it on Batmax on two regular users' lists.
