There was never a widescreen version available on ANY format, including laserdisc.

I think an action update could fit this movie very well. Go on, Yoshimi, edit Indiana Jones ;-)

Yeah.

Who needs great acting plus character and plot development when you can just throw a ton of action in there when no one speaks.

If they knew how many times I had to watch this over 3 days, they'd be a little more sympathetic.

Sorry.

I have to agree. Cutting Heat is NOT what people would think of. If anything, it has a following that would want MORE and not less. It'd be like taking Scarface and making it a more sympathetic movie. That's just not what it is. Making it an action movie cheapens it. It's a VERY very well made, acted and written movie as is. Don't touch it.

As for the next disc, I'm thinking I might do some more Temple of Doom stuff. Babyhum gave me some great UK stuff and I just came across some Entertainment Tonight stuff from 1984 that were "first looks" into the making of it. Figure that will be IJ4 and then IJ6 (and on) will be Last Crusade stuff (since there's a lot more of it to archive).

it will be great if you can find a good copy of Heroes and sidekicks. I sent my copy to babyhum several months ago but it is not in very good shape.

I have somewhere a TV spot for an Indiana Jones Chronicles episode featuring Harrison Ford. Let me know if you want it.

I had asked if anyone had a copy of Heroes & Sidekicks!!! I've NEVER seen it! Could you send it to me? I don't know anyone that has it, honestly.

FYI...for those who may have missed it, the making of Last Crusade is seeding again.

Sweet, thanks a lot. I can't wait to watch both of them. Are you missing some files though, because you are only at 99.99%

International Trailer (mastered from Laserdisc)
UK TV Commercials
"Anything Goes" Music Video (UK)
ABC TV Preview 1
ABC TV Preview 2

NOTE: This disc was mastered from various sources and the quality varies.
I went through 5 different copies of the main TV special using the video from
mine that I recorded in 1984 and the audio from another copy which had VERY little hiss. I was also able to piece together the end credits music which always had an announcer speaking over. The quality is not perfect but good/very good.
This was a PBS special that has never been released on home video.

Nope. Not all the trailers.
