And I'd definitely do a dual-layer version. Flipping/changing discs is soooooooo laserdisc.

I'm not going to be re-torrenting my other version but I will be doing a new version of it and incorporating the "extra" footage from the international version and the old laserdisc sound mix as well. It's on the list.

Promo Only is a company that releases CD's and DVD's monthly for DJ's, clubs and bars. They're all mastered from original tapes and usually have fantastic quality. Same with CD's. However, subscpritions usually cost A LOT and you have to prove that you work in radio/entertainment industry.

For those interested in an NTSC version, I'll be having to do it shortly.

Because I'm now in HD-DVD land, i'm not keeping a player around to play a couple of discs so I'm going to have to convert any of the PAL discs.

If anyone is interested, please let me know.

I dunno. Had I recorded with Dolby Digital instead of PCM, it would've looked even better! I used my stand-alone machine and that was done in the early days when I was recording everything with PCM. Had I used Dolby Digital, the bitrate would have been higher.

I'm no longer PAL-able, any chance of an NTSC version of this? with DGpulldown?

I'm gonna have to start doing the conversions myself at this point.

I'm not keeping an extra player for a couple of discs.

Question:

My new Toshiba HD-DVD player has zero problems playing "normal" copies of DVD's burned to dual-layer.

However, when I put in one that was authored by myself on DVD-lab, it almost always (except for one disc) seems to stutter right at the beginning of both layers. It will play for a second and then stop.

Any idea what might cause this? I've tried two different types of media. I'm thinking maybe if I burned at a slower speed? Can Nero still allow you to burn at a slower speed?

Do we have any quality files for this? 5 hours on one DVD is crazy.

I'd love the Letterman show from when he got back.

I was stuck in the city most of the day that day and didn't see anything until late in the afternoon when I finally got home. I never experienced any of that "live" on tv. It was real life for me.

I have the original Criterion DVD for Robocop.

Yeah, that's the version I used for The Game.

I took the links off because it's now "officially" been released...but I guess it's out of my control at this point.
