You could always get an Insignia from Best Buy. Yuo could get one for less than $50 right now. That's what I have as a back-up :)

Jaws 3 is already available officially on DVD in 3D.

Jambe,
I might have missed it but that actress who wrote "Love You" on her eyelids was in a deleted scene.
Not sure if you had that info.
Yeah, there was a still or two. Maybe I'll include it. Thanks for the reminder.

I can't believe that they don't have the video up from a master. It's just a VHS copy. Very surprising.
I'm going again with my best friend. Got our tickets at Comic Con. Saw it when it was first off-broadway.

It's a comparison between the Blu-Ray and a 35mm scan of the original version. The Blu-Ray fails miserably.
Yes. I finally got it from Ebay. :)
The quality is shit but...I have it.
I actually emailed you back and never heard back from YOU! :)
Thanks!

IMO, the one overriding reason that the set can be "worth it" is for the 3 old-school documentaries on Disc 9. The prices on the secondary market for legit versions of "The Making of Star Wars", "SP FX: The Empire Strikes Back", and especially for the Japan-only "Classic Creatures" LD together rival the cost of the BD set.
Yes, I know that almost everyone on this site has at least on LD-to-DVD transferred version of each of the documentaries (Rowman's for me) but to have a proper release is nice in itself.
So I’m putting together a bonus Blu-ray Disc of all the stuff that wasn’t included on the Die Hard Blu-ray’s.
Thus far, this is what I have:
Live Free or Die Hard (HD Unrated version)
Wrong guy, Wrong Place, Wrong Time Documentary
Continuing Adventures of John McClane Featurette
Live Free Life After Film School with Len Wiseman
Live Free Casting Session - DH4
Live Free MSN Roadblock Trailer
Live Free Teaser Trailer
Live Free International Trailer B
Live Free Bloopers
Live Free Deleted Scenes
Live Free Hacker Underworld
Live Free Homeland Security In A Cyber Age
Live Free Matt’s Pad With Justin Long
DH3 - Making of (different from DVD version)
DH3 - Side By Side Comparison - Water Gushing Through Tunnel (only one missing from Blu-ray)
DH3 - Interviews from R4 Australia DVD
DH3 - Summer in the City Music Video
Anyone have anything else to contribute? There’s not much room left on the Blu-ray after this. I’d LOVE to get the AMC Backstory on Die Hard but I never recorded it.
Absolutely! If you could rip them, that'd be sweet! :) :) THANK YOU EVERYONE!
LOVING this project. hearing the clips has brought back a TON of memories from this audio!
Hey guys! I'm back! Yes, I'm still thinking of putting together the disc. Obviously because the original HD documentary is now released, that won't be included. I'm still trying to compile all of the other extras.

So is there a list of deleted scenes that still weren't included? I'm really surprised that the section of 21B removing the mask from Luke wasn't included.
There was on the thread I started, yes.
Where's that?
Anyway, yeah, it's a shame they didn't put more deleted stuff on the discs. Another disappointment, I suppose. Just look at the massive amount of goodies on Jambe's docs and think of how much they could've added... (I'm quite surprised the scene TMBTM mentioned—Han and Leia talking about 3PO missing, including the awesome line 'you should wear girls clothes all the time'—isn't included) A couple of dozen clips, many of which are merely interesting curiosities, sure aren't going to entice more people to buy the set, especially since we know exactly what's on them.
It's on this section a little lower not that far away, not sure why there was need for another thread for this but anyways.

I don't understand why so many of the deleted scenes for the OT are in black and white. Can anyone explain this?

After the EW ESB scene was released, I posted a color corrected version on YouTube:

It's been like two days but this thing already has 39,051 views... Someone even ripped my color corrected version off and it's on whatculture.com...
It's actually an interesting extension although one probably not good for the movie was a whole...
was this already posted?

No... Dark_Jedi's is entirely sourced from the GOUT save audio options. He just anamorphisized (that can't be a word) the picture and degrained in scenes where necessary. Also, it's upscaled to 720p.
That's not the GOUT, though, is it? That's a de-specialized version, no?
Did anyone ever sync up the laserdisc PCM audio to the GOUT version as a project? Maybe add the isolated score as well? Was looking to do my own “preservation” on one BD disc.

My GOD man, it is NOT about ignoring reality, but it is not something to chat about, I have never sat around with my SW buddies and started talking about GL passing away just so I may have a chance at the UOT, or talked about dying in general with my Friends period, I mean what the hell? I would rather talk about what movie to see next? what video game to play next? who are you dating now? how is your Wife and Kids? but never death talk.
Guess that's what makes the world go 'round, now innit? My friends and I talk about EVERYTHING. Nothing is off-limits. I'm not about having superficial relationships that only exist around movies and video games. Theres a bit more to life than that.
And, considering I'm gay, I have no wife or kids.
All I am trying to say is there are A LOT better things to talk about with your Friends, Family and Significant other, than death LOL, or discussing the death of someone so you could possibly benefit from, with a particular movie or CD.
