Nope. I have masters for everything mentioned above. I won't put it on my "upcoming" list until I actually have a master in my hand.

As for the Making of Superman 3, I do not have that. Might be good when we get around to doing superman to have babyhum master it. we could release all 3 of them!

As I've been posting over in the Indiana Jones thread, Babyhum and I have teamed up for a series of releases that should be hitting the torrents very soon.
All releases described in this thread are for non-profit entertainment purposes ONLY!

DO NOT SELL ANY OF THESE DISCS FOR PROFIT ON EBAY OR OTHER WEBSITES, COMIC SHOPS OR AT CONVENTIONS.

The point of this project is to preserve vintage Star Wars/Indiana Jones/other programs that have no chance of getting a retail release. IF however any of the DVD's are released commercially, buy the damn official version!

umm...hmm. i'll have to check it out. i have the 1 disc score and the 1 official release. i doubt this would have anything that's not on either of those.

Edit: Know what that is? All they did was rip the commentary track from the 2 disc DVD. Thanks anyway!

As an update, Babyhum received my first batch of Indy/Star Wars discs and seems to be quite pleased by the quality.

Each special will be it's OWN release. Quality is the most important issue here.

Both Raiders specials will be released along with A LOT of other stuff so stay tuned!!

I have The Game: Criterion as well and will be working on that eventually. Unfortunately, there is no 16x9 transfer to sync that up with though

I might want to wait a little bit.

But I want to do the rest of mine as well.

I fell asleep last night doing the pictures. There are HUNDREDS of still photos so this will probably take me a few days.

Still waiting for someone to come forward to do the artwork.

Commentary is edited and sycned (for the most part) to the original audio track. Only thing left is to make the photo gallery.

Sure, why not. I'd love to hear this stuff, and DVD-Lab can do *several* soundtracks. I posted my 3-soundtrack SW prototype on MySpleen. You should give it a listen and tell me what you think (and about the commentary menu as well.)

Mebejedi, I won't need to do multiple audio tracks for this one luckily. As I said, right now I'm just trying to figure out what the best way to do the storyboards/photos would be. The rest is pretty much in the can. Once this work is done, just have to figure out menus. Got ideas for either?

Well I know other people have made their own sets where you can "step forward" to view each storyboard/photograph. is there an easy way of doing this?

I will definitely make it available on Myspleen if possible. The video is ripped and I'm in the middle of burning the extras right now.

Done with the extras disc for right now. There are a TON of storyboards/photographs on the Criterion set and trying to figure out the best way to present them on a DVD. Should I step forward myself and make a montage with music? or is there a better way.

You can scratch having multiple audio options. None of the extras need it.

I'm currently recording the commentary and will be syncing it up with the released 16x9 transfer tonight. Should be all done this weekend.

I'm going to be starting my own thread about this soon. The first batch has just been shipped off to Babyhum for our combined archives for Indy. All of my masters will be used and Babyhum will be doing the menus/artwork. I've also sent him a bunch of star wars stuff so he'll be releasing that on his own with credit to me. Be on the lookout!

The Criterion disc has a COMPLETELY different commentary which (I think) is the best commentary I've heard. It was a LOT better than the one I listened to on the DVD.
There are also outtakes on the laser as well as other technical stuff. I was definitely disappointed in the 2 disc DVD release.

I could probably put together the extras disc over the weekend. The commentary would take a little longer but no problem with that either.

I don't want to include the original audio from the film because i really don't want to duplicate anything that's legally out there.

I'd do all the captures. That's not the issue.

The issue is building the menus and making sure that you can have the option to listen to different audio content if possible.

I could even supply some music for the menus. I have the "bootleg" soundtrack CD with the complete score to the film. That might make another great extra if there's room.

And btw, everything is different about the Criterion version. I don't think there are any extras that are repeated.

Anyone want to help me out with this?

Was thinking of making a 2 disc set of the laserdisc edition. There are tons of extras (including a commentary) that have never been released on DVD. Was going to rip the video from the current DVD and sync up the commentary for disc 1 and then put all the other extras on disc two. Problem is that I'm not good with menus AND the second disc would have multiple audio tracks for certain extras.

Is anyone else interested in this and would anyone be able to help me out?

We've already discussed that EPK. It never aired on TV and is a promotional montage put together for all movies when they are originally released. I believe it was only about 10 minutes. It will be included.
