Here in the US, we got nothing. Other regions got extras.

And there is most certainly a laserdisc release for Bram Stoker's Dracula.

The first 3 releases will be the two Raiders "making of" specials that have already been released and the making of Last Crusade. The Raiders specials will have a higher video bitrate and will NOT be using a PCM audio track. The original master was mono so there's no need for a large audio file when that could be going towards video quality. I'm sure you'll all be very pleased.

Yes. We have teamed up for that as well. It will be dual layered and MUCH better than the one already released.

I couldn't disagree more. I've done a lot of recordings in both xp (1 hour) and sp (2 hour) on my recorders and the 2 hours are always worse than the one and I've decided that, on the whole, I'd rather burn a dual layer disc than a single layer that looks worse.
I think the only reason why dual-layers aren't being used now is because the price is so high and so few people are using them. But rest assured, any of the files *I* put up here that are longer than 2 hours will be dual-layer. The hi-def age is here and I'm not going to be stuck behind the 8 ball because single layer is cheaper at the moment. I want to preserve things in as best a quality as I can.

Probably a combination of both. 2 hours is two long for a single layer DVD. What I don't understand is that you'd be better off taking the regular BR dvd which is essentially 16x9 already, adding the fake ending, editing out the dream sequence and just mixing in the VO to the soundtrack. That would give you nicer results than an LD transfer.

Confirmed. I will be able to do a dual layer version of this. I'm getting a copy split over 5 DVD's. I'll just have to mix it down. Will have 5.1 as well.

Don't be so sure. Some people have said that sometimes it is...and sometimes it isn't..depending on where you are and whatknot.

But even if you're looking for the original version, this is still going to be the best master we have if anyone is able to capture it. The current DVD is single layered and terrible quality. If one captured this correctly, they could have a full dual layer, anamorphic set with possibly 5.1 sound! Do we know if that channel is encrypted?

There are no other deleted scenes (I believe) that are on the epic/trilogy that aren't included in the boxed set. However, the TV version does and the transitions of material on the laserdisc are obviously different.

Thanks a lot guys. I was starting with myspleen since "they" are the ones who've helped me out so much in the past with star wars stuff but their rules about seeding can be strict. We'll see how I make out there and if not, I'll just have to go somewhere else. Can those other sites link to the torrent if I start on Myspleen? I really hope you guys enjoy it.

I'm going to see how much room is left on disc 2 as well. I might add the entire score soundtrack as a bonus "audio only" feature.

Update:

Disc one is completely done. I'll start working on the "extras" disc and should be done by this coming weekend. Hopefully I can get permission to start seeding it!! If any of you have an "in" with the mods on myspleen, put in a good word for me

Sorry for the delay in all this. This is my very first time making menus and such so I'm learning as I go. The ones on this first disc are pretty primitive but they work. And it's a full motion menu with music. Hope you enjoy!

I have a VHS copy of the original master for the "re-release" of the workprint. They showed it again in the late 90's and I got a "limited edition" copy from the master. I paid like $30 for it too.
I also have the Gongo edition CD. No mp3 if you want no compression.

I have a trailer in 16X9 Mode and NTSC, from a Warner DVD (not the blade runner DVD). If you want it..., please PM

The re-release yes?

he's using my master. It was recorded directly onto my DVD recorder. No tivo.
