Are there no sex scenes/nudity whatsoever? Would you say that these edits are PG-13 as far as sexual content is concerned?

I actually am hoping for a stronger connection to Snoke and Palpatine. It would help explain exactly what happened in his return.

It makes sense to me that after Operation Cinder and the fall of the Empire at Jakku that Gideon was tasked with the job of reviving Palps. It’s a long process. And during that process of Snoke is created or Gideon uses that tech to create new troopers than that’s fun all around.

I’ve tried to do that, but it never actually makes the copy. I have legit left google drive run overnight and it did not make a copy. I don’t know what the issue is.

I check daily on Drive to see if V4’s download quota is over but every single day it’s the same. Does anyone have the 1080p V4 downloaded and could somehow get a copy to me? Everything is Hal’s drive has exceeded its quota.

I have never seen the lightning as purple but always as blue. The only time it was actually legit purple was when it was in The Force Unleashed game. Other than that, any view of it being purple is probably just out of context. With the way the SE’s are colored the blue might come out slightly purple, but in context I wouldn’t see it that way.

Hello everyone!

As Hal is winding down his edit of TROS with the lovely Ascendent I have been thinking about adjustments I would make myself.

THE GOAL:

The goal of this edit would be to keep all of the improvements that HAL and company have made with TROS while also maintaining some of the smaller elements that were cut from his edit. This would essentially create a less drastic version of his edit.

CHANGE LIST:

Essentially, this edit would be identical to TROS:A with the following adjustments.

1. Restore Palpatine’s cringy Prequel line from the beginning in Exogol and restore his transfer Spirit line to its original position in the film.
2. Maintain the removal of Lightspeed Skipping but restore the conversation between Rey, Finn, and Poe in its entirety.
3. Restore the “They fly now” joke. Sure it doesn’t really make sense, but it gets its chuckles and it didn’t bother me much.
4. Maintain the Sith whispers when Rey pulls out the dagger on Endor (Kef Bir) yet restore the Goonies dagger alignment moment.
5. Attempt to restore Palpatine’s line “Let your death be the final word in the story of Rebellion.” Or if I’m feeling really up to it take the line from the TV-Spots where he says “the story of Skywalker.”
6. Restore Babu Fricks appearance at Exegol (It was cute)
7. Replace the Tie Fighter that Kylo arrives in at Exegol with Vader’s Tie Advanced

I currently do not have the ability to make any edits, yet hopefully, when the new year comes around I will have the means to actually complete this film the way I see it in my head.

Thank you Hal! It’s been a blast reading through these threads for the past almost decade and seeing the amazing results! I can’t wait to one day have all of these edits burned on to discs and placed on my shelf!

While I like the new Stormtrooper “kill me now” line in theory the audio just doesn’t work. It sounds too clean for the sound we are used to hearing coming from a stormtrooper helmet. Maybe just running it through a subtle filter to make it sound like it’s coming through a radio will help?
