Question about aspect ratios
Time
Hi guys,

I'm looking a doing an extended edition of one of this years best movies so far (but its a secret) and was plannig to insert the deleted scenes back in via womble, but when I drag them into it the ratio is out.

Now, I dont know much about aspect rations, so instead, I've taken some screencaps, with a greensquare where the movie would be to show the difference:

Main movie:

Deletd scene:

whats the easist way to resize the deleetd scene without losing quality?

Some of the deleted scenes I simply left alone as they can be found on the official release, and I had no further material on them, likewise some scenes from the movie proper I cut for the same reason (and in the case of the fireplace scene, simply because it's crap!).

As referred to by none, in places I simply had nothing to add, and have had to let the movie run it's course, but I did what I could to keep this to a minimum

nearly everyone i've heard from so far has commented on the speeds, wether too fast, or too slow. Unfortunatly, Lucasfilm wasn't thinking of me when they made the various videos my clips come from . Therefore, sometimes I've had to stretch what was originally a 3 second glance into 10 seconds (Padme's pilot costume is a glaring example of this), othertimes I've sped things up just to at least show the process involved (such as the Apartment Block model).......but then of course, other times, I got it just right

with very little fanfare I would like to announce that 'The Clones Revealed' is finished, bar some teething problems with the final DVD mastering. As I gear up for the huge multimedia blitz that will shortly follow (seriously, this things gonna be everywhere lol), I started a blog on starwars.com and although I haven't yet mentioned the movie I'm wondering...how safe would a bit of promotion in the dragons lair be, or is it just a really, really stupid idea?

Phew...just had a very, VERY, close call.

Been having some trouble compiling the DVD all morning. DVD Lab Pro just wouldnt do it. I guessed I was putting to many extras on it, so took some off but still wouldn't complete the compiling. So I closed it down, restarted the computer, opened the program and tried again...when I had a wierd error message on my computer saying the data I was saviing was lost. Odd, I thought, I'm not saving any data. So I opened my ext HD folder, opned the TCR folder and there was.....nothing, zip, diddlysquat. Oh dear, I thought, so I came back out, and suddenly the whole HD folder vanished, and the computer couldnt find the drive. Oh no, I thought.

Anyway, blind panic ensued, leads pulled out and back in, drivers reinstalled, still nothing. Oh shit, I screamed, I've lost it all, so bloody close n all.

Turns out it was just gremlins. I followed teh age old advice and switched the HD off, left it for 30 seconds, and switched it back on. And all is well with the world again
